Our two-day Training & Capacity Building on Programme Management titled "Driving Project Effectiveness: Management, Efficiency & Leadership" brought together Project Managers, Team Leaders, Regional Heads, Support Teams, and Senior Management to strengthen leadership capabilities and enhance project efficiency & effectiveness.
The programme started with a Leadership talk led by Mr. Radheshyam Solanki, CEO, IGS. He focussed on ownership, accountability, and organizational excellence.
The programme featured an insightful session on Project Management by Dr. Sanjib Sarangi, COO, IGS, guided participants through programme management frameworks, emphasizing the importance of clarity in the What, Why, Who, When, Where, and How of project implementation.
Participants also explored strategies for building high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and addressing workplace conflicts through sessions moderated by Mr. Hariom -IGS. Discussions on strengthening community institutions and ensuring the sustainability of development initiatives were facilitated by Mr. Kumaresh Rout, highlighting the importance of institutional ownership beyond project timelines.
A thought-provoking session by Mr. Vijay Mahajan, Co-founder, IGS, reinforced the need to align programme design with intended outcomes and impact pathways, he also took through the evolution of BASIX Social Enterprise Group, the critical role Indian Grameen Services played, how we adopted the Livelihood Triad Strategy. Then Mr. Arun Nathan, Partner β Sattva Consulting, shared valuable perspectives on building a culture of constructive feedback, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The programme also featured an engaging panel discussion with IGS support teams on HR, Finance, Operations, Administration, and the implications of the New Labour Code, enabling participants to better understand organizational systems and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
Beyond the sessions, the programme provided a valuable platform for peer learning, experience sharing, and team bonding, culminating in a vibrant cultural evening that celebrated the diversity and collective spirit of the IGS family.
