e who were once forgotten. With a strong network of volunteers and passionate leadership, HEAL has become a beacon of light, inspiring and transforming lives wherever it goes. It all started with Dr Prasad's simple yet powerful idea of using the skills and knowledge of medical students to help those in need. The Praja Seva Samithi, established by Dr Prasad, flourished, becoming a source of hope and healing for the impoverished community it served. In 1992, Dr Satya Prasad founded the first HEAL charity organization in the UK. With dedicated volunteers, HEAL has expanded its reach, helping more people in need worldwide. HEAL envisions a world where every child has access to health, education, and a chance to thrive, with a commitment to nurturing their growth and development towards becoming future leaders and change-makers. HEAL Health Centre Supports Community Health at Mega Medical Camp

HEAL Health Centre significantly contributed to the Mega Medical Camp organized by the Hyderabad Citizens Forum at YSR Park Community Hall. The event aimed to provide essential healthcare services to underserved populations and offered free medical services, including general check-ups, ENT assessments, dental exams, eye care, and diagnostic tests.

A total of 292 beneficiaries attended, receiving consultations, diagnostic tests, and free medicines, easing their healthcare costs. The HEAL Health Centre team collaborated with various specialists to deliver quality care, fostering community solidarity and support for local health and well-being.

Weekly General Health Camp was successfully conducted at Abhaya Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Kummari Basti, Punjagutta.

The camp saw a good response from the local community, with many individuals coming forward to avail consultations and basic medical services.

HEAL Health Centre conducted a medical camp at the 38th Hyderabad Book Fair, one of the city’s most widely attended public events. The camp operated continuously from December 19 to December 29, every day between 01:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
The camp provided free general health check-ups and basic medical consultations to visitors across all age groups.

Weekly Medical Camp at HEAL Health Centre

As part of its ongoing weekly medical outreach, HEAL Health Centre conducted a free preventive health camp on 12th July 2025, with a focus on diabetes screening and early detection.

A total of 41 individuals underwent free HBA1c and Random Blood Sugar (RBS) tests. Alongside testing, participants received medical consultations, lifestyle guidance, and dietary advice to help manage and prevent diabetes.
