On this 77th Republic Day of our great nation, Jagathi Foundation celebrates more than a national milestone.

Through its “Swashakhti”Program, Jagathi Foundation works with women across tribal, rural and extended urban regions, training them in tailoring and embroidery, the skills that go beyond craft and enables pathways to economical independence.

In Gutala, West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, the women participating in the “Swashakthi” Program learn stitching techniques that enable them to start their own future enterprises, generate sustainable income, and support their families with dignity to fulfill their dreams. Additionally, the program helps strengthen local economies, and create women empowerment within communities.

This Republic Day, as the nation reflects on freedom, equality, and justice, Jagathi Foundation honours the women of Swashakthi who stitch not just eco-friendly scrunchies, but hope, resilience, and a stronger future for generations to come.

🌾 Sankranthi at Pain Relief and Palliative Care Society (PRPCS), Hyderabad | “Majili” – A Voyage with Hope & Happiness 🌾

On 13th January 2026, Jagathi Foundation (JF) celebrated Sankranthi at the Pain Relief and Palliative Care Society, where joy was gentle, smiles were quiet, and hope was deeply felt.

Through Majili, JF shared moments that mattered—patients and their families creating rangoli together, colours speaking where words fell short, and sweet laddus passed hand to hand, carrying warmth and care.

With 50+ patients, family members, and caregivers, this wasn’t just a celebration—it was a reminder that even in the hardest journeys, joy still finds its way and builds hope.

đź’› This Sankranthi, JF celebrated Sankranthi presence over pain, connection over silence, and hope over hardship.
