We were delighted to welcome Mr. Sampath Garu, a passionate gardening content creator, to our composting facility this week! 🌿

His curiosity about our waste processing and composting process made the visit truly special. He took a keen interest in understanding how waste is transformed into nutrient-rich compost and was genuinely impressed by the dedication and hard work of our team. 👏💚

He also took some of our compost home for his garden and shared that he’ll be creating a video once he puts it to use. 🌱✨

🌸♻️ Look at the amount of waste generated at just ONE temple!

Recently, during Nagula Panchami, we saw this huge amount of waste generated at a single temple. 🙏

Now imagine the amount of waste generated across hundreds and thousands of temples during festivals!

The good news is that a large part of this waste can be recovered, recycled, or composted instead of being dumped into landfills or water bodies. 🌱

🌺 Do you have flower waste or other holy/organic waste from temples, events, or religious places?

Send it to our composting plant and help us give this waste a second life. ♻️🌿

Together, let's turn holy waste into useful compost and keep our surroundings clean. 💚

What happens to the foam packaging around exotic fruits?

Many exotic fruits come with protective foam packaging. Unfortunately, some of these foam materials are difficult or not economically feasible to recycle and can persist in the environment for a very long time.

When thrown away, they can contribute to land pollution and waste accumulation. ♻️

It’s time to think beyond the fruit and also think about the packaging it comes with! 🌱

Let’s choose sustainable alternatives, reduce unnecessary packaging, and keep waste out of our landfills. 💚

🪰 Flies in Composting? Don’t Panic! 🌱♻️

Seeing flies around rotten or fresh organic waste can be normal. But with the right composting process, the waste is properly processed and the problem of flies is significantly reduced.

At Vapra, we follow a controlled composting process to convert organic waste into natural compost. Once the waste is properly processed and the composting process is complete, finished compost should not attract flies like fresh rotten waste does. 🌿

So, don’t let the fear of flies stop you from composting! 💚
