A Recognition That Belongs to Everyone!

We are delighted and honoured that Samaritans for the Nation (SFN) received recognition at the 2nd National Changemakers Meet (September 30 – October 4).

Heartfelt thanks to The Changemakers Network team for bringing together 51 changemakers from across India's states and Union Territories and giving us an extended family of inspiring individuals.

A special thanks to the core team The Changemakers Network teamof for their tireless efforts and excellent planning. From food and accommodation to activities and coordination, every detail over these five days reflected your dedication and commitment.

This recognition belongs to everyone who walked with us — my family, friends, donors, well-wishers, government officials, partners, team members, volunteers and, most importantly, the tribal communities whose trust inspires our work every day.

Your support has helped us reach remote tribal communities across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Every contribution, big or small, has played a valuable role in our journey.

We return with beautiful memories, new friendships, valuable learning and renewed determination to serve.

Recognition is not the destination; it is a motivation to keep going. Together, let us continue creating hope and meaningful change.

Pleased to share that Samaritans for the Nation (SFN) have been selected among 51 Changemakers representing different States and Union Territories across India.

Got privilege of representing Samaritans for the Nation at the National Changemakers Meet 2026 at the Statue of Unity, Gujarat, where we will present and share information about our organisation, our journey, and the work we have been carrying out for vulnerable tribal communities in remote areas.

It is a great honour for our organisation to receive this opportunity to represent our work at a national platform.

A NEW BEGINNING FOR MPPS MAREPALLY
PROJECT VIDYA an initiative of Samaritans - For The Nation

For nearly 10 years MPPS Marepally remained in poor condition after the construction work was left incomplete. The villagers continued to hope for a safe and better learning environment for their children.

When the District Collector Haritha Maam Komaram Bheem Asifabad brought the school to our attention and requested our support Samaritans for the Nation took up the renovation under Project Vidya.

Today seeing the children step into a renewed safe and dignified school space is truly a moment of happiness and fulfilment.

A particularly special and memorable moment was witnessing three IAS officers K Haritha Maam Dist Collector IAS, Komaram Bheem Asifabad Dist & Sub collectors IAS Yuvaraj Marmathi Garu and IAS Harish Chowdhary garu visit Lineguda Gram Panchayat, Kagaznagar for the first time travelling into this interior tribal habitation of the Gond tribal community to be part of the school inauguration.

Our sincere thanks to C H Ujwal Kumar MPDO Kagaznagar and his team for closely monitoring the project and extending their support throughout the renovation.

Our deepest appreciation goes to the Gond tribal community of Lineguda. Even during the rainy season and challenging circumstances the villagers came forward participated actively and supported the renovation for the future of their own children.

Thank you to R V Prasad garu and everyone from Samaritans for the Nation who came forward to support this initiative.

When a community comes together for its children a school becomes more than a building. It becomes a promise for a brighter future. 😇😊🙏

Project Vidya | Dharmannanagar

With CSR support from DYNATA, Samaritans for the Nation established a container-based Anganwadi Centre in the remote tribal habitation of Dharmannanagar, creating a safe and functional space for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers, with a focus on nutrition, early childhood care and maternal wellbeing.

Taking care, nutrition and opportunity closer to the families who need it most.

Project Vidya | Dharmannanagar

When a permanent building is not possible, we find another way to reach the children.

In the tribal habitation of Dharmannanagar, a proper Anganwadi building was not possible due to forest-related restrictions. Following a request from the District CDPO and DEO of Badradri Kothagudem Dist, Telangana Samaritans for the Nation took up an innovative solution — a container-based Anganwadi Centre.

The centre was designed, transported and installed in the tribal habitation, creating a safe and functional space for 40 children , pregnant mothers, lactating mothers to continue proper maternal-child nutrition services.

This is our first container-based Anganwadi initiative, supported through the CSR grant from Dynata, with an investment of approximately ₹3.5 lakh.

Because distance should never decide a child's opportunity to learn, grow and receive proper nutrition.

Through Project Vidya, Samaritans for the Nation continues to focus on strengthening education and essential infrastructure in underserved communities, with the belief that every girl deserves a safe and supportive environment to learn, grow and achieve her aspirations.
