A towering chapter of Indian cinema comes to a close…

Today, we bid farewell to the legend Dharmendra, a man whose humility matched the strength he portrayed on screen. At 89, he slipped away, leaving behind a legacy so rich, so deeply felt, that his presence will echo through generations.

He wasn’t just an actor—he was the He-Man, a symbol of grace, masculinity, and heart. From his unforgettable moments in Sholay to his gentle wisdom off-screen, he inspired us all.

His journey spanned over six decades, more than 300 films, and innumerable hearts touched. He gave us laughter, tears, action, romance—and above all, a quiet dignity that made him beloved not just by audiences, but by his peers.

He was a family man—proud father, devoted husband—and in his later years, he taught us that simplicity and authenticity matter most. Even as he aged, he drove his tractor, worked on his farm, and shared life lessons rooted in humility.

Om Shanti, Dharm Ji. Your curtain may have fallen, but your light will never dim. Indian cinema will forever feel the void you leave behind—and yet, we will always feel your presence.

आज के दिन व्रती लोग पवित्र स्नान करके सात्विक भोजन ग्रहण करते हैं —
यही “नहाए खाए” कहलाता है। 🌾
