Christmas is a festival of joy, sharing, caring, and giving back to those who need it most.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank all the friends, donors, sponsors, and well-wishers of Leela Memorial School for standing with us.

Today, as we celebrated Christmas at Leela Memorial School, we taught our children the true meaning of sharing and caring. With your generous support, we distributed oranges, cookies, chocolates, candies, along with toothbrushes and toothpaste—bringing smiles and happiness to every child.

A special note of gratitude to Sohan Sir, who is always with the school day and night, and to Manisha Ma’am, Manju Ma’am, Rahul Sir, and Priyanshu Sir, who think about the school every single day—near or far, but always close to their hearts.

Dear James and Melanie

Thank you so much for visiting Leela Memorial School and meeting your sponsored child, Aditya. What a wonderful year it has been—your presence twice in one year truly means a lot to us and, most importantly, to Aditya.

Seeing you appreciate him, warmly hug him, and lovingly acknowledge his handmade card thanking you for sponsoring his education, while reassuring him that you are always there for him as a guardian and mentor, was deeply touching. Your precious time, care, and energy brought great happiness to all our children.

After meeting you, Aditya shared with a bright smile:
“James Uncle came to see me again. I am very happy. I want to study well and make him proud.”

We are also very grateful to you for bringing your friend Melanie from Germany with you. Melanie shared her experiences from her own primary school in Germany and offered very valuable and practical guidance on teaching methods and managing a primary school. Her insights were truly inspiring for our teachers.

The children especially loved when Melanie played with them and taught them the poem “If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands.” Their laughter and smiles filled the classrooms with joy. The day became even more special when you and Melanie distributed cookies to all 120 children and our staff—everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.

We are truly thankful for your kindness, love, and continued support. We hope you both will visit us again soon and spend more time with the children, especially with your sponsored child.

We are deeply grateful to Mr. Navin Kumar Sinha, who has come forward to establish her own Leela Navin Scholarship Program under the Leela Foundation Udaan Scholarship Program (LFUSP). A retired personnel from All India Railway Servises, Mr Navin Kumar Sinha love for education is reflected by donating on ones eduction. Mr. Navin Kumar Sinha completed his education from IIT kanpur He always supported education to its utmost because he says education is the most important part of everyones life as who is he is because of his education. Mr Navin is Compassionate by nature and always ready to extend a helping hand, Mr. Navin Kumar Sinha is deeply loved and respected by everyone in his community. His generosity and kind heart have now found a new expression through the Leela Naveen Vidhya Scholarship Program, where he sponsors Mansirat, Class Nursery — nurturing not only a child’s education but also her dream of becoming Independent. Mr. Navin Kumar Sinha gesture beautifully reflects his belief that kindness, like a well-tended garden, blossoms into hope for generations to come.

Today, the Leela Foundation (Leela Memorial School) family had the honour of celebrating a moment of pride and gratitude.

Our Co-Founder & Secretary, Shri Sohan Singh Rana Ji, along with Mr. Archit Pandey Ji, Vice-President, Municipal Council (BJP), Muni Ki Reti, Tehri Garhwal, jointly presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Shri Ganga Prasad Yadav Ji for his lifelong dedication to the noble field of education — as a teacher, mentor, and true torchbearer of knowledge.
