✨ “Ummeed – Ek Kadam Shiksha Ki Or” Highlights from the Three-Day Residential Learning Workshop ✨
We are delighted to share glimpses from our recently organized three-day residential workshop under the “Ummeed – Ek Kadam Shiksha Ki Or” initiative, focused on girls’ education and leadership development.
During this workshop, the team and our selected Ummeed Cohort 2025–26 girls actively participated in intensive learning sessions. Together, they engaged in deep discussions, shared personal experiences, and co-created a meaningful journey — one that aspires to live, experience, and lead change within their communities.
The key learning’s from this workshop were:
• Understanding what leadership means to me as a woman within the local context of our tribal community, and identifying the changes needed.
• Exploring the connection between education and our dreams, and taking 100% responsibility to overcome challenges.
• Recognizing how collective leadership and collective action serve as powerful links for driving change.
In the evening cultural Mehfil, the girls celebrated tribal traditions through folk songs and dance, exploring ways to preserve and integrate their rich cultural heritage into their work.
The workshop became a beautiful space for learning, connection, and cultural expression.
