PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Goddess of knowledge Ma Saraswati was worshipped at Sanskrit Vidhyalaya. The members of Inner Wheel Club took part in Upnayan Sanskaar of twentysix children on this auspicious occasion. The donation of 26 kgs rice and 30kgs wheat flour was done by members of IWC of Haldwani."Bhiksha " was also given to the batuks.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A camp for measurement of legs was organized - a joint effort of Hari Krishna Foundation and IWC of Haldwani. Dr. Sanjay Singh from Delhi did the task. Twenty patients from different places like Almora, Pittoragarh, Dharchula, Kotabagh and Haldwani attended the camp. Suggestions & instructions were given to them by Dr. Sanjay. This is a charity project. Further organisers have plan to distribute wheelchair, walker and special shoes for ailing patients. Generous hearts and support of members will surely make this project a success.

World Inner Wheel Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor. Members joined this special day in great number. Everyone participated in systematically organised ceremonies-Prayer, Lighting of lamp, Cake cutting. Two new members were inducted .Lapel pins were given to them by Charter President & Charter Secretary.Inner Wheel Sakhi initiative was beautifully taken up by our CGR -Mrs. Deepa Tewari. A informative session for all . The veterans and hosts organised a surprise short ,informative Quiz based on Inner Wheel. Nivedita, Indu & Renu were declared as winners. Later we all enjoyed
piping hot snacks and tea.

Everyone knows that Yoga improves strength, blood flow, warmup muscles and flexibility of body. Stepping forward for reducing mental stress, increasing the memory status of students was main aim of IWC of Haldwani . On 26 December An instructor of yoga
took a yoga session of young girls meeting their needs and rejenuvating their bodies.

Christmas Smile Project was done by members of IWC of Haldwani with slum area children.
Woollen clothes were distributed to them brought smiles on their faces ,which was worth appreciating. It was our small gesture to make their winters comfortable.

The Principal of adopted Primary School requested our Club President to provide some chairs for the Library . After discussing with the executives, it was approved. But kind hearted club ISO, Sushila Bhakuni, donated all by herself making children comfortable in chilly winters.
