NAB is a beautiful home and educational institution for the visually challenged children of Uttarakhand.The main aim is to provide education and later on vocational training so that the children become independent and join the mainstream of society.They are also taught to perform all their routine day to day activities without anybody's help so as to instill a sense of worthiness and confidence in

them.They are also involved in various types of sports,workshops,competitions etc.In no way they are treated as "different".NAB is a self sufficient unit with it's own building, playground, tubewell, solar panels etc. Shyam Dhanak in the year 2003, along with various other dedicated volunteers from the region. Mr Dhanak continues to lead the organisation with full commitment and dedication. Apart from being the director, he is a father figure and friend to all the children. NAB has completed ten years of steady growth and achievement under the able leadership of Mr.
