In the sacred presence of Nandi Baba, with letters of support from 36 MLAs
Gau Mata Rajya Mata Sankalp Yatra
15 March 2026 – Uttarakhand
📄 Detailed Description (Post Content)
In the holy land of Uttarakhand, a historic phase is being initiated to grant “State Mother” constitutional status to Gau Mata (Holy Cow). This Sankalp Yatra (Resolution March) will commence under the leadership of Shri Vinod Chandra Bhatt in the divine presence of Nandi.
Written letters of support addressed to the Honorable Chief Minister by 36 respected Members of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly will be ceremonially offered as garlands around the neck of Nandi Baba. This symbolic resolve is not merely a journey, but a call for public faith, constitutional respect, and the गौरव (dignity) of Gau Mata.
The yatra will begin from the sacred land of Garjiya Devi Temple in Ramnagar. From there, it will move forward village to village and town to town, spreading public awareness. It is proposed that the yatra will take a one or two day pause at Moteshwar Mahadev Temple (Nayagaon, Kaladhungi), after which the next phase of strategy will be determined.
This phase is a continuation of many earlier dedicated efforts. To secure the recognition of Gau Mata as State Mother, dandavat yatras (prostration marches), foot marches, silent vow journeys, and public awareness campaigns have been consistently undertaken in the past. Carrying forward that tradition of sacrifice
