"Whoever gives in the way of Allah is never truly at a loss."

Eid-ul-Adha is an occasion to remember devotion, obedience, sacrifice, and thankfulness. Celebrated on the 10th of Dhu'l-Hijja, the twelfth and final month of the Islamic calendar, it honours Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and inspires Muslims worldwide to strengthen compassion, charity and unity through prayers, Qurbani, and acts of kindness.

According to Islamic tradition, Prophet Ibrahim (AS) was commanded by Allah in a dream to sacrifice his beloved son as a test of faith. Despite the pain, he obeyed wholeheartedly. Before the sacrifice, Allah replaced his son with a sheep, honouring Ibrahim’s devotion and trust. On this day, families dress in fine dresses, gather at the Eidgah for prayers and perform Qurbani. The meat is divided into three equal parts: one for the family, one for friends and neighbours, and one for those who have nothing. It is a festival that insists on sharing, the essence of charity and equality and quietly celebrates letting go.

Team Samarpan wishes everyone a joyful and blessed Eid-ul-Adha. May this holy festival bring peace, happiness, prosperity, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, unity and gratitude. Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones.

The survey conducted on 10th may emerged as a profound exchange of insights, aspirations, and heartfelt conversations where encouragement and motivation were shared with warmth and kindness, just like a guiding sail that steadies a boat through uncertain tides, inspiring hope, direction, and growth.

The journey unfolded as everyone gathered near the Department store and then everyone went onto survey the area behind the mosque and Gandhinagar warmly introducing and interacting with our excited new first-year students who are just beginning their Samarpan journey. The survey provided us insights into the students' academics. Rewarding the brilliant 10th pass students, Saniya Khatun and Shagun Kumari Mahato was an key highlight of the day amd the overwhelmingly positive words of feedback from the parents was really encouraging to everyone. The day ended with a photograph and a interactive motivational session between seniors and first-year years.

The survey emerged as a profound reflection of Team Samarpan’s ethos, where every conversation fortified its values of compassion, kindness, and selfless service. The survey strengthened the collective resolve to foster empowerment and a brighter future through education.

"She held your hand for a moment, but she holds your heart for a lifetime."

Mother's day is a very special day celebrated all around the world commemorating the love and sacrifices made by mothers everyday and every moment of our lives. On this second Sunday of May, the world honors our very first creators, spirits of extraordinary resilience and selflessness: Mothers. A mother is the silent pillar of every family. It is from a mother that our most important education begins at home.

The celebration of Mother's day commenced in the early 20th century due to the immense efforts of Anna Jarvis in 1908 to honour her mother. The event was quickly commercialized, and Anna Jarvis spent her last years protesting against the holiday that she created. We have plenty of endearing names for our ultimate protectors, Maa, Mom, Amma, Mata. They may not all win global medals, but they are the heroic ones who sacrifice their lives to build our futures. People around the world honour their mother through thoughtful gestures, sentimental gifts and acts of service. The day acknowledges the sleepless nights, endless sacrifices and unconditional love of every mother.

Team Samarpan wishes everyone a heartfelt and loving Mother's Day with deepest respect, promising to carry forward her legacy of "a life grounded in love, boundless in giving and lit from within by unconditional care."

"You cannot cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water."
-Rabindranath Tagore

On this 25th of Baisakh, the world pauses merely to honour a poet, a soul of extraordinary music and literature and a significant novelist, Rabindranath Tagore. Born in Calcutta into a wealthy and culturally influential family, Tagore did his primary education from home.

"The Bard of Bengal" was also known as Gurudev, Kabiguru and Biswakabi for his noteworthy contributions in poetry, essays, novels and playwrights. In 1913, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for Gitanjali, becoming the first non-Europeon to do so and then donating the Nobel Prize money in the construction of "Viswa Bharati" school in Shantiniketan. Apart from this Tagore was a philosopher, a tireless teacher who taught everyone universal brotherhood to promote unity beyond religion, caste and creed.

On this auspicious day , Team Samarpan with respect wishes everyone a reflective celebration where he promise to carry forward his dream of "a world united in purpose, boundless in thought, and lit from within by the freedom".

"Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared." - Gautama Buddha

Buddha Purnima, an auspicious festival is celebrated on the full moon night of the Vaisakha month, signifying the birth, enlightenment and Mahaparinirvana of Gautama Buddha. Observed with deep reverence by millions of people across the world, this sacred day reminds us all of the timeless path of peace, compassion and self-awakening.

Buddha was born as Prince Siddhartha, and at the age of twenty nine he renounced the comfort of his royal life in order to search for the truth of existence. After several years of meditation and discipline, he attained enlightenment beneath the Bodhi Tree at Bodh Gaya, where he became "the Awakened One". The Four Noble Truths and advice on following the Eightfold Path given to mankind by Buddha will continue to guide humanity away from suffering and toward inner peace. Devotees pay tribute on this day by visiting temples, light lamps and present flowers, while engaging in acts of kindness by donating food, clothing, or medicine to the less fortunate, consistent with Buddha's teachings of selfless service. On Buddha Purnima we are not only reminded of rituals rather encourage to embrace simplicity, non-violence and harmony in our daily lives.

Team Samarpan wishes everyone a peaceful and blessed Buddha Purnima and that this day may inspire us to share our happiness freely and walk along the path of kindness and wisdom. Shubh Buddha Purnima!

“Labour is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.” — Abraham Lincoln

Workers are the backbone of a nation, keeping everything upright. Due to the revolutionary acts of the worker community, who united to fight for their basic rights, 1st May came to be recognised as “Labour Day,” often called May Day, and is celebrated across the world annually.

In support of working-class demands for the eight-hour day, the International Workers’ Congress adopted a resolution for a great international demonstration. To commemorate a general strike in the United States, the American Federation of Labor chose 1st May 1886, which later led to the Haymarket Affair on 4 May. This later became an annual event known as International Workers’ Day, often called Labour Day.

It is one of the most important holidays in communist countries such as China and countries of the former Soviet Union. They celebrate the day with military displays and parades. In India, it was first organized in Madras by the Labour Kisan Party on 1 May 1923 under the leadership of Singaravelu Chettiar.

Team Samarpan wishes everyone a Happy Labour Day. May we continue to support the workers who keep our world in motion.

"এসো হে বৈশাখ, এসো এসো" - কবিগুরু রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর

A new sun rises over the horizon, carrying the promise of hope, renewal and joy. On this auspicious day of 'Pohela Boishakh', the Bengali calendar welcomes its first dawn and with it the heart of Bengal begins to dance. This day not only marks a change in the calendar but it also marks the celebration of Bengali identity, heritage and the eternal spirit of renewal.

This day is much more than just a date on the calendar rather it is the very soul of Bengali heritage. Rooted in agrarian traditions and celebrated with vibrant processions, new ledgers like the traditional 'Haal Khata' this day unites people beyond all differences. The 'Mangal Shobhajatra' with its colourful masks and painted elephants, stands as a proud symbol of harmony and resilience. Bengali families dress in red and white attires, women draping sarees and men wearing dhoti panjabi showcase the pure culture of Bengal. They also share bengali delicacies like hilsa, and embrace the melodies of Rabindra Sangeet. It is the time to forgive all old grievances, close past chapters, and step forward with a clean slate. The rhythmic beat of dhol that echoes through the streets reminds everyone that no matter how difficult the previous year has been, the arrival of Boishakh brings fresh light, new harvests, and boundless courage.

Team Samarpan wishes everyone a very happy Pohela Boishakh. May this new year fill our lives with peace, prosperity, and endless smiles. Shubho Noboborsho!
