The Bengali Students’ Union, Haflong Govt. College Unit, in collaboration with the All Assam Bengali Youth and Students Federation, Dima Hasao District Committee, proudly celebrated the 8th Bijoya Sanmelan at the Cultural Institute Hall, Haflong.The evening resonated with songs, dance, and laughter — a true reflection of unity and tradition. Along with the festive spirit of Bijoya Dashami, we also paid a heartfelt tribute to the legendary singer, Zubeen Garg, whose melodies continue to live on everybody's heart 🎶❤️Bijoya Dashami reminds us that goodness always triumphs over evil — a day to spread love, forgiveness, and happiness among family and friends. As we exchanged warm wishes, it truly felt like Durga Maa’s blessings surrounded us all. 🌸🙏Let’s carry forward this spirit of cultural pride, peace, and togetherness throughout the year.

"JOINT CELEBRATION OF SARASWATI PUJA

Bengali Students Union, Haflong Govt. College Unit and All Assam Bengali Youth And Students Federation, Dima Hasao District Committee successfully jointly celebrated Saraswati Puja on February 2nd, 2025.

We're grateful for the opportunity to come together and pay tribute to Maa Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music, and arts.

On behalf of All Assam Bengali Youth & Students Federation Dima Hasao District Committee, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Bengali Parishad, Dima Hasao District Committee, and Bengali Students Union, Haflong Government College Unit , for the opportunity to collaborate in celebrating the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the great freedom fighter.

This momentous occasion, held under the banner of Assam Linguistic Minorities Development Board, Government of Assam, was a testament to the power of unity and collaboration. The event featured a range of extracurricular activities, competitions for school children, cultural programs, and inspiring speeches by dignitaries.

On 30th September 2024, our Dima Hasao district committee AABYSF was formed with 25 dedicated members in the presence of:
Shri. Mahananda Sarkar Dutta (President, AABYSF Central Executive Committee)
Shri. Ankit Paul (General Secretary, AABYSF Central Executive Committee)

Our committee members, along with central executive committee members, visited and shared our vision & objectives to Shri. Debolal Gorlosa Hon'ble CEM, Dima Hasao Autonomous Council,
Donpainon Thaosen Hon'ble Executive Member DHAC and various other organisation leaders and prominent organisations.We received overwhelming support and encouragement.
AABYSF Dima Hasao district committee aims to:
