Gyalshing, 19 November —
A program was organized yesterday at Sanchaman Limboo Government College to commemorate the birth anniversary of Rani Laxmi Bai, the fearless warrior and symbol of women empowerment. The event was led by ABVP karyakartas, who paid tribute to the iconic queen and highlighted her contributions to India’s freedom struggle.

To mark the occasion, sweets were distributed among students and attendees.
The celebration witnessed the active presence of Vidyarthi BISTARAK (Gyalshing) Yadav Sharma, SFS Pramukh Man Kumar Bhandari, and several other dedicated ABVP karyakartas, who collectively emphasized the importance of remembering national heroes and their sacrifices.

The program concluded with motivational remarks encouraging students to draw inspiration from Rani Laxmi Bai’s courage, leadership, and patriotism.

*सन्चमान लिंबु कलेज गेटअघि सडक दयनीय, विद्यार्थीहरूलाई दैनिक कष्ट*

ग्यालसिङ, पश्चिम सिक्किम –
सन्चमान लिंबु सरकारी कलेज ग्यालसिङको मुख्य गेटअगाडि पर्ने सडक अत्यन्तै जीर्ण बनेको छ। वर्षा लागेसँगै सडकमा हिलो र पोखरी जम्दा विद्यार्थीहरूलाई आवतजावतमा निकै कठिनाइ भएको छ।

कलेज प्रवेशद्वार कै केही अघि पानी जम्ने र खाल्डाखुल्डी भरिएको सडक पार गर्न विद्यार्थीहरूलाई पाइन्ट उठाएर, जुत्ता खोल्दै क्याम्पस पस्नुपर्ने बाध्यता आएको छ। “कलेज पुग्दा सानो दूरी भए पनि हाम्रो अवस्था गाउँ छिर्ने जस्तै हुन्छ,” एक विद्यार्थीले भने।

स्थानीय अभिभावकगणले पनि सडकको अवस्था देखेर चिन्ता व्यक्त गरेका छन्। "शैक्षिक वातावरणमै असर पर्ने खालको समस्या हो, तत्काल ध्यान दिनु जरुरी छ," एक व्यक्तिले बताए।

ABVP Gaylshing Zilla successfully organised an SFS (Students for Seva) program by conducting a Mandir Cleaning Drive at 8th Mile Radhakrishna Mandir.

This initiative was aimed at promoting cleanliness, preserving cultural heritage, and encouraging youth participation in community service. The members worked with great dedication and teamwork, ensuring that the temple premises were thoroughly cleaned and beautified.

ABVP Gaylshing Zilla’s efforts reflect the true spirit of Students for Seva, inspiring others to contribute towards the welfare of society and the upkeep of our sacred spaces.

ABVP Gyalshing Unit Organises Tiranga Yatra with 300 Students

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Gyalshing unit organised a grand Tiranga Yatra from Langang Secondary School to Gyalshing Bazar on Monday, drawing the participation of around 300 students.

The yatra, marked by patriotic spirit, was held under the leadership of Namchi Bibhag Sanyojak Abishek Nepal, Vidyarthi Vistarak Yadav Sharma, and other karyakartas of the Gyalshing unit. The procession witnessed enthusiastic involvement from participants dressed in traditional attire, adding a cultural essence to the event.

The programme was graced by the presence of ABVP State Secretary Samiran Karki, NEC Member Reshab S***a, and SFS Pramukh Chanchal Timsina. The Tiranga Yatra aimed to instil the values of unity, nationalism, and pride among the youth ahead of Independence Day celebrations.
