Bal Mahila Vikas Samiti - VAMA VAMA .... Since 1988 of ... PREPARING PEOPLES TO HELP THEMSELVES. Chambal – Bundelkhand region of M.P.

Aims and objectives of the Organization:

● To promote activities focused on the development of the downtrodden. Back ward, Dalits & tribal communities.
● To work for the communities in such a way that they develop sprit for mutual co-operation, participation, gender equity and justice.
● to promote sustainable utilization of human and natural resources: land, water, biological resources, energy e

tc. and to popularize the use of renewable/alternative energy ‘sources for ecological restoration.
● To promote education and awareness, health and nutrition, the use of schience and technology based on traditional pattern, ecological farming and sustainable livelihood systems.
● To develop micro enterprises based on local resources and undertake capacity building activities for the up-liftment of the poor marginalized and other vulnerable groups. Geographical Area of Intervention:

VAMA is working intensively tour ravine affected & very backward development blocks of Gwalior Distt. It is also activity involves in issue of gender equity/ adverse s*x ratio, drinking water & livelihood for deprived communities and Reproductive and child health of Chambal-Bundelkhand region as regional & state level through peoples’ organization. Intervention strategies –
‘Preparing people to help themselves
● Organizing deprived & vulnerable communities.
● Capcity building through community based training programs & informationdiscrimination.
● Facilitation of the process of formation & strengthening community organizations.
● Establishing functional linkages & networking among community organization.
● Addressing immediate community needs of livelihood & survival through community
participation.
● Networking among civil society organization & important actors for public advocacy.
● Promoting Advocacy on land rights & women right and women dalit atrocities.
● Training of Panchayat members on Panchayati Raj system and strengthening Gram Sabhas.

वामा रिसोर्स सेंटर दतिया में पिछले तीन दिवस से मानसिक स्वास्थ्य पर आधारित देखभाल का प्रशिक्षण आशा एवं सुपरवाइजर को जिला प्रशिक्षक द्वारा दिया गया एवं CMHO दतिया से डी.सी.एम. एवं अन्य अफसर द्वारा सभी का परीक्षा परिणाम देख प्रमाण पत्र का वितरण कर प्रशिक्षण का समापन किया गया।
