Under the monthly program of Gwalior Management Association (GMA), affiliated with AIMA , an interactive session titled “India Post – A New Identity of Change and Security in Life” was organized at Hotel Landmark NX.

The session aimed to provide information about India Post’s export services, deposit schemes, and insurance plans, and was held in the presence of ASPOS Gwalior Mr. V. P. Rathore and Postmaster, Murar Mr. Brajesh Sharma.

We are proud to share that Dr Manoj Patwardhan Executive Director of Gwalior Management Association and Professor at ABVIIITM Gwalior, has been appointed by the Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh as a core member of an expert committee entrusted with a crucial environmental responsibility.
In the recent order (WP No. 15739/2021), the Court has constituted a committee of leading experts to prepare a Concept Note on Tree Translocation—with special focus on the unique topography, climate, and soil of Gwalior region. This initiative is a step forward in ensuring sustainable development while preserving our precious green cover during urban projects like the Thatipur Redevelopment Plan.
This recognition reflects not only his academic excellence but also his commitment to ecological balance and sustainable urban planning.

Gwalior Management Association Hosts Seminar on Corporate Governance and Tax Compliance

Gwalior, May 19, 2025: The Gwalior Management Association (GMA) organized an insightful seminar on the topic “Interlinkages with Corporate Governance & Tax Compliance”. The event featured a comprehensive discussion on pressing issues such as tax evasion, trade-based money laundering, inflated balance sheets, and rising bank NPAs.
Ms. Vaishali Malhotra, IRS, Commissioner CGST Appeals, Gurgaon, graced the occasion as the keynote speaker. She highlighted the significant progress in simplifying the Goods and Services Tax (GST) framework, noting that the government and related departments are actively working to make the system more accessible and user-friendly.
Ms. Malhotra also remarked on the steady rise in GST revenues, reflecting its increasing efficiency and effectiveness in bolstering the economic framework. The seminar provided a platform for participants to address their concerns, fostering an engaging dialogue on corporate governance and tax reforms.
The event underscored GMA’s commitment to promoting informed discussions and addressing contemporary challenges in governance and compliance.

Gwalior Management Association Invites Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia as Chief Guest for Upcoming Event

Gwalior: A delegation of the Gwalior Management Association (GMA), led by Dr. Praveen Agarwal(President), along with Dr. Manoj Patwardhan (Executive Director), Er. Mohit Verma (Joint Secretary), Priyankur Shrivastava, Ashish Agarwal, Sandeep Gabra, Rahul Sharma, and Sanjay Agarwal, met Union Telecom Minister Shrimant Jyotiraditya Scindia today.

During the meeting, the GMA representatives formally invited Minister Scindia to be the Chief Guest at their upcoming event scheduled for next month. The delegation also discussed the positive developments in management and business sectors that are contributing to Gwalior's growth trajectory.

AIMA YLC Gwalior Chapter and Gwalior Management Association Celebrate International Women’s Day
Theme: "Celebrating Women’s Achievements"
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, AIMA YLC Gwalior Chapter and Gwalior Management Association organized a grand event at Hotel Landmark NX, Patel Nagar, City Centre. The theme of the event was "Celebrating Women’s Achievements."

A panel discussion on the topic "Empowering Women Today: Stories of Resilience and Leadership" was the highlight of the event. The panel featured Dr. Anjali Raizada, Architect Jaai Shejvalkar, and Dr. Anjali Gyanani as panelists, with Dr. Sandeepa Malhotra serving as the moderator.

The program commenced with a welcome speech by Dr. Praveen Agarwal, President of Gwalior Management Association. The event was coordinated by Er. Mohit Verma, Chairperson of AIMA YLC Gwalior Chapter. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Rajeev Jain, who graced the occasion with his presence.

Gwalior, 13/10/2024: The Gwalior Management Association (GMA) organized a solemn condolence ceremony to honor the life and legacy of the late Shri Ratan Tata, a visionary leader and industrialist. Along with various dignitaries and business leaders, gathered to pay their respects to the legendary figure who shaped India's corporate landscape and made remarkable contributions to society.

During the ceremony, speakers highlighted Ratan Tata’s unparalleled achievements in business, philanthropy, and nation-building. His leadership at the helm of the Tata Group transformed Indian industry and placed the country on the global map. His philanthropic efforts, which focused on healthcare, education, and rural development, were widely praised.
