𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲?

At Golaghat, a group of passionate Sports Volunteers came together for the 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 under Suraksha: Strengthening Child Trafficking Prevention Pathways.

But this wasn't just about learning games.

It was about learning how sports can build 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 and 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 to stay informed, protected and hopeful.

Every whistle blown, every team formed and every lesson shared is a step towards a future where children are safer, stronger and free to dream.

Because sometimes, the most powerful way to protect a child starts with a game.

𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀. 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲.

On the occasion of the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿, children came together to perform a thought-provoking play, raising awareness about a reality that no child should ever face.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 — 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿.

The programme was attended by officials from the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 (𝗗𝗖𝗣𝗨) and the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗗𝗟𝗦𝗔), along with Panchayat representatives and village heads, who joined the children in spreading the message against child labour and advocating for children's rights.

Through their performance, these young changemakers reminded us that ending child labour is not just a responsibility — it is a collective commitment to protect the rights and future of every child.

Let us stand together to ensure that every child is in school, not at work.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 begins when 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬 take 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 for their community.

At the 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐤𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐢 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, the 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫, along with fellow ministers and members, came together to 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐬 across the village.

A 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 for a 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐤𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐢 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰.

𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀.
𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻.

At the 𝗡𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗦𝗦 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱, educators explored practical ways to make classrooms more engaging, interactive and joyful — where children don’t just study, but truly enjoy learning.

Because a motivated teacher can change the entire atmosphere of a classroom and sometimes, even a child’s future.

𝟯 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀.
𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘀.

At the 𝗡𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗦𝗦 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽, children discovered 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 and the 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲. Every activity became a step towards 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 and 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳.

Because 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 are not born — they are nurtured with 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲.

They drop out when they stop 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻

But watch what happens when learning feels like joy — when classrooms are filled with 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴.

A simple 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲. A caring 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿. A moment of 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

And suddenly… 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆.

At 𝗡𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗦𝗦, this is how change begins — not just teaching minds, but reaching hearts.

This is how we 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀.
This is how we 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿.

Because when a child 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻, they stay.
