🐘🌿 AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON “RIGHT TO PASSAGE FOR ELEPHANTS” 🌿🐘
📍 Bogapani Elephant Corridor | Bogapani Tea Estate, Assam
An awareness programme on the “Right to Passage for Elephants” was conducted at the Bogapani Elephant Corridor to sensitize local communities living close to important wildlife movement routes.
The programme highlighted the vital role of elephant corridors in ensuring safe movement of elephants and promoting human–elephant coexistence. Discussions focused on reducing human–elephant conflict, minimizing crop damage, enhancing community safety, and protecting Assam’s rich wildlife heritage.

🤝 Together, communities, conservation organizations, and forest authorities can build a safer landscape where both people and elephants can coexist.
