On 25th June 2025, a Labrador was found lying helplessly in the middle of a busy road in the Khanapara area. Disoriented, unable to stand or walk, he was surrounded by unfamiliar faces and an unfamiliar environment. He was visibly dehydrated, starving, and desperately searching for the family he trusted and loved unconditionally — unaware that he had been heartlessly abandoned. This innocent soul, once someone’s beloved companion, has now been diagnosed with Canine Distemper, a life-threatening viral disease. The severity of his condition suggests that he may have been discarded due to the illness — a decision made when he needed care the most. In addition to distemper, he is also battling a severe skin infection and tremors that prevent him from eating or drinking properly. He is currently under medical supervision and receiving treatment at our hospital. This heartbreaking case is a stark reminder of the cruelty some animals face at the hands of those they trust most. At a time when he needed love, compassion, and medical support, he was left to suffer alone on the road.Let’s not fail those who give us nothing but loyalty and love. He deserves a chance at life — and we are doing everything we can to give him that.
