Bhabada Devi Memorial Home for Destitute Old Women Seneh (Assamese for Love and Care) is a private foundation providing shelter and hope for destitute o We very much appreciate your collaboration!

Seneh is a private foundation providing shelter and hope for destitute old women in Guwahati, Assam (India). On Sundays, Seneh provides free healthcare for women and children. Send a message to Seneh if you would like to make a donation that will be invested in medicines for the Sunday clinic and food and healthcare for old destitute old women. As of now SENEH has twelve such women. Most of them were picked up from different locations stranded on the streets. One of theem is absolutely blind from birth. Another was also absolutely blind but thanks to an operation in an eye hospital she can partially see now. Five of them are having psychiatric treatment since they were found to be mentally instable. yet another is deaf. We have provided her a hearing aid . For good seven days she could not betray her happiness and would keep gigling at all times.Almost all of them are suffering from different ailments. They are being treated with regular medicationit is heartening to find a regular stream of visitors who appreciates and encourages the efforts.
