Seneh is a private foundation providing shelter and hope for destitute old women in Guwahati, Assam (India). On Sundays, Seneh provides free healthcare for women and children. As of now SENEH has twelve such women. Most of them w

ere picked up from different locations stranded on the streets. One of theem is absolutely blind from birth. Another was also absolutely blind but thanks to an operation in an eye hospital she can partially see now. Five of them are having psychiatric treatment since they were found to be mentally instable. yet another is deaf. We have provided her a hearing aid . For good seven days she could not betray her happiness and would keep gigling at all times.Almost all of them are suffering from different ailments. They are being treated with regular medicationit is heartening to find a regular stream of visitors who appreciates and encourages the efforts.
