Appeal for Contribution to the Chief Minister's Flood Relief Fund

The extended Executive Committee Meeting of Assam Pradesh Varishtha Nagarik Sangh (APVNS), held on 27th July 2026 at the Community Hall of Adhunik Residency, Adabari, discussed at length the devastating flood situation prevailing in Upper Assam. Thousands of our brothers and sisters have been displaced from their homes and are facing immense hardship and uncertainty.
As senior citizens and responsible members of society, we have always stood for humanity, compassion and service to the nation. In these difficult times, it is our moral duty to extend a helping hand to those who are suffering.
The House unanimously resolved to make a collective contribution to the Hon'ble Chief Minister's Flood Relief Fund as a humble gesture of solidarity and support for the flood-affected people of Assam.
We earnestly appeal to each of our esteemed members to contribute ₹500 or more towards this noble cause. No contribution is small when it comes from the heart. Your generosity, compassion and sense of social responsibility can bring hope and relief to countless affected families.
