The body perishes but our soul is immortal. You might hear several people saying, "Rooh se pyar kro, woh kbhi tumhe chor ke nahi jayegi". If you fall in love even with your own soul, then trust me you'll never feel scared of anything else. Because it's your soul which will always stand there beside you in every situation; it won't astray you away from itself. Likewise when you're in a relationship you ought need to love their soul before you fall in love with their physical appearance. Physical attachments are very common nowadays, but mental attachment is very rare to find. When someone genuinely cares for you, they'll never stay mad at you for a long time because the heart which knows to love someone will never end up mislaying someone else's dreams.

You have the fear attachments, isn't it? And why is it so? Because your heart has been mislayed into several pieces by someone whom you trusted more than yourself. And just because you've lost your trust in love and relationships, you don't prefer getting attached to anyone. You still remember those dark nights when you wailed and there was no one to help you out. You felt so helpless and there was no one to offer you their shoulder, where you could rest your head cry to reduce your pain. These nights act as a reminder for you to prevent you from getting attached once again in your life.

Please hold on, this cannot continue because we humans are bound to get attached to people. You cannot stop yourself from getting attached to someone. Even though if they break your heart, there will be someone who will fix your broken parts and help you to heal.

Attachments hurt you, when they aren't able to connect to the other person's soul and here you start blaming destiny for making you a victim of heartbreaks and pain. But this pain was necessary, to tutelage you the importance of "SOULFUL ATTACHMENTS".
And once you master the art of soulful attachments, then nothing in this world can ever break your heart into pieces.

Believe yourself and have faith in your soul. ❤️

loving someone doesn't mean having them in your life forever. love is a emotion which your heart feels for one person out of thousand other options available. because that person touches your soul like nobody else could.

you feel for them, love them and your heart smiles wider when you're around them. but don't you think that you are offering your love under conditions, only if they possess exact same feeling for you too.

sometimes situations surrounds you in such a way that it almost becomes impossible for you to be with the person you love. and at that time instead of achieving it, meaning of love turns into sacrificing.

it's important to love a person with your whole heart but as soon as you feel your love is not what they need or your love is hurting them in any way or you're not capable of loving them forever, you decide to bridge a gap with that person.

and at some extent that is how love should be. it shouldn't always be about you, your happiness, your feelings and what you want but what and how the other person feels for you and what they want from you. if they decided to push you away for whatever reason it's your duty to give them peace and make them comfortable at the cost of your absence.

don't chase them, let them live in their own space. it will hurt you but promise yourself to love the person from distance without disturbing their life. and no-one can stop you from doing so, as long as your emotions are not damaging anyone mentally or emotionally.

Dear Self,

I know how badly we've been hurt in the past, but trust me, I'm proud of us for picking our pieces up every fu***ng time and coming back stronger. We met some people who took advantage of our kindness, pushed us into the darkness, but I'm happy to know that when we had no one else, we had each other's back.

I understand how it hurts when people ghost us, but know that even when others cannot, I am here to see your worth through every cracks we've held onto since the ages. People will come and go, some will make us, some will break us, learn to be thankful to both of them, for knowingly or unknowingly, they'll give us a reason to be stronger and wiser than we were yesterday.

It makes me happy to see that we never gave up on each other. There were times when we lost hope, the spirit to hold our head high and fight back, but the most important thing is we didn't stop trying. We did our best, and that's why today we're here, sharing this unbreakable bond of finesse.

I hope you know that I love you. I love how clumsy you're, how you get me into awkward situations, I love your flaws, I adore how you never think of giving up on us. In simple words, I owe you a lot.

Thank you for being there with me through the think and thin.

Love,
A.

"All I wanted to do was save her."

"Who says she wanted to be saved?"

"Don't we all?"

"She's different. She's been through hell and back, and hasn't complained once. She doesn't need to be saved; being broken is who she is."

"I thought I could be the one that protects her."

"She can do that by herself. All she wanted, was someone to hold her hand while she did."

"I did. I waited as she let time heal her. I did everything right, and I lost her anyway."

"That's the thing about love, right? It gives and gives, but it can only hope to receive in return. It never comes with a guarantee."

"Then I guess she never really loved me."

"She did. With all her heart. More than you'll ever know."

"Then why'd she leave?"

"Because she had no other choice. Her love was always true, but duty got in the way. When she lost you, she lost a big part of herself too. But with a smile on her face and a dagger in her heart, she went on with life. Because the day she let you go, she found the answer to the most painful question to ever exist."

"And what's that?"

"You can love someone with all your heart and soul. But is that love, by itself, ever really enough?"

Set amidst the backdrop of rural India, within a week of it's release, Panchayat Season 2 has already managed to pave its way to people's heart.

With Abhishek Tripathi, aka Sachiv ji as it's main protagonist, the story like S1, continues to revolve around four strangers who in no time became friends. Keeping intact the humour, the authenticity, nostalgia and conflicts, Panchayat acts as a mirror into the lives of common middle class people who're miles away from swank and gloat.

While one side of the story depicts Abhishek's dedication towards his duties, his conversation with the dancer on a lone road "ek tarah se aap bhi to naach hi rahe hai", gives not just him but every viewer watching a reality check of how sometimes, we only remain as a passenger in a car that's driven by our fate. Neither can we get down, nor can we drive ourselves, all we can do is keep trying and wait for our destiny to change it's way.

With every episode, the series ensured we get a glimpse of reality. Pradhan ji breaking stereotypes by refusing his daughter's proposal, Abhishek making sure that Bhushan aka Bankaraks's evil games doesn't affect his Sachiv-Pradhan bond, Pradhan, Abhishek, Vikas and Prahalad serving people on Rinki's birthday to all four of them bonding with Siddharth, every scene had an essence of its own, making us go aww.

While the story maintained the balance between struggles in one's life and friendships he carries, cute moments between Rinki and Abhishek gave us all the butterflies, and Rahul's death towards the end showed us a clearer picture of how it feels when the only one you live for, leaves you forever, what goes into the life of a single parent who sends his child to serve the nation and how sometimes loneliness is all that you wish to befriend.

A heartwarming tale with a blend of humour, sarcasm, and originality, Panchayat S2 stirs up all the happy, sad and excited emotions inside us.

Dear K.K,
Right from the 1990’s, you gave us back to back hits.
Hits that shaped our very epitome of childhood.
Your songs spoke volumes and brought meaning to our life.
Even in your last few hours, you gave your voice to us.
A voice that will be remembered for all eternity.
Your untimely death has left us devastated.
But your memories will forever live on, through your songs, thoughts and deeds.
Gone too soon, but forever in our hearts.
May your soul rest in peace.
Heaven has finally got another angel.

Revolving around the lives of six different individuals, Escaype Lives as a series is an attempt to throw light on pervasive social issues rampant in our society and seeks to burst myths around the life on social media.

Social media is not all roses and peaches as one perceives it to. Sometimes, in the fit of earning name, fame and fortune, people can go to any extent and Da**ie and Neelesh's character narrates the same. On one side where Da**ie couldn't accept defeat at any cost and eventually committed sins like murdering Dhruv and kidnapping Rani, Neelesh's character tells about a slum dweller's obstinacy to earn money, even if it's at cost of one's life.

Rani and Hina aka The Fe**sh Girl's story too is no less than a trauma. Ditched by her own uncle who in the name of vitamins, injected growth hormones in her niece's body for his selfish motives, Rani's life is a mirror to those innocent souls who lose their childhood when trapped in the shackles of social media engagement and algorithms. Hina and Mala's swedge throughout the episodes elucidates the angst of women who move to metro cities to earn money but are left confined to the walls of slut-shaming, molestation and racism.

Although the series dealt with so many serious issues in so less time, the conversations between Sunaina and Rajkumar, from the first on his terrace to their last heart-to-heart on the ghats of Banaras, were the eye catching moment of the whole plot. The optimism and buoyancy with which Sunaina motivated Rajkumar to bring out his true self-Meena Kumari not just on the app but infront of the entire world is the attitude everyone needs to have in themselves, the acceptance the world needs for the LGBTQ community.

From intercaste relationship between Srini and Sarfaraz to reflecting the real picture of a company's higher management who run business only for money and their motives, keeping the lives of common people at stake, Escaype Lives is an eye-opener for today's generation.

• 9 Years of YJHD •

"Life isn't a bed of roses", indeed this is true but the fact is you cannot have a happy life if you concentrate only on being serious. At some point in my life I've realised that Bunny wasn't wrong, his words were assumed to be that of a immature person but the depth of his words were worth hundred crores.

The only thing which matters in your life is "you" and "your happiness". Apart from this nothing really matters. Nobody will stay with you forever, so you need to decide your life rules according to your comfort zone not based on what the society labels you as. Life will never end until your heart stops beating, so till your heart continues to beat you have to work hard, and prepare yourself for a better future.

Great things take time. You’ll find your desired gift at the right time. People should observe their past sometimes. When you sit alone, you sit with your past. You should talk to your past, take some knowledge from it. We are continuously growing through what we are going through. That’s why pardoning and letting go is the most powerful option one can make for oneself and for humankind.

Bunny is living the life of his dreams travelling to exotic destinations and chasing his passion. He never thought his dreams could change or that he could settle for monotony. But when he finally realises his true feelings for Naina everything becomes crystal clear. His dream is no longer to travel alone but to do so along with Naina. Thus dreams can change for the better.

To the one I didn't love back,

I don't even know what else should I say for breaking your heart other than I'm sorry. I know what it feels like to get your heart broken from that one person you deeply love. I've been there too - it's devastating. I'm sorry you had to go through it because of me.

The day you confessed your feelings for me, I was left speechless. I could see the sadness in your eyes when I said I didn't love you. I knew you were going to have many sleepless nights and your friends told me that you did. It reminded me of the time when I was in your place and the number of days it took me to get over that one person. I know how much your heart might have cried. I prayed for you to get better. I wished for nothing but for your pain to go away.

I tried to not let my guilt eat me up, but it did. How could someone turn down a person who knows all your flaws and still adores you? How could someone be so foolish to ignore the simple acts of love? I was. Anyone would have wanted to be in my place and be loved by someone like you.

I want you to know that you put a smile on my face on those days when I feel no one will ever love me. You make me realise that I too can be loved. My only wish is that you find someone who'll love you unconditionally. Thank you for being there for me on days when I wasn't doing good. Thank you for keeping your feelings aside and being there as a friend for the time you did.

I'm sorry again, for crushing your heart and making you cry. This thing will always eat me up from inside. You should know that you were a part of my journey that made me look at things in a brighter way. Thank you for all the little moments we've shared, it'll always be precious. And you, you'll always be special.

From,
Someone who will remember your love,
Eshika Modi.

There are times when we get tired of how life is treating us, the mess we're dealing with, but aren't our sufferings a little less severe when we have someone by our side who helps us stay strong through all the rough days and tough nights. Cutting Chai is the journey of a couple, Latika and Daniel, who're married for a long time now and missing out on the romance one needs to keep the spark in the relationship alive.

Capitol Cinema, the place where it all begins. She says final goodbye to her first boyfriend, Vikram. In the same place, she says hello to Daniel, a hotel manager, and the romance between them starts to brew over a cup of cutting chai.

Latika is stuck in the conundrums of marriage and motherhood, and she's guilty of not giving enough time to herself, her dream of becoming a writer. There comes a phase where we see Latika having so many thoughts on the back of her mind, questioning her choices she made in the past.
She retrospects everything, starting from not moving away with Vikram, to her marriage to Daniel. But as they say, love isn't about grand gestures, but the little efforts.

Marriage is a beautiful journey altogether, and Cutting Chai brings to us its freshness served with love. With the right person, we know that no matter how difficult the road to be taken is, reaching the destination together is always worth it. Cutting Chai manifests that sometimes it's okay to let go of mistakes and hold tight onto nothing, but just love. The relationship may become tedious with time, but that doesn't mean we should stop trying.

Modern love Mumbai has served some beautiful stories, but Cutting Chai is really very close to my heart. I myself am a die hard tea lover, and I truly believe in the supremacy of romance that starts over a cup of tea. Cutting Chai by Nupur Asthana is a warm hug to every couple who's on the verge of reconceiving their life decisions, marriage being one of them.

Window facing backyard, is visited by Pakhi today. Hindi calender marks today as the first day of Basant Ritu (the season of spring). She is dressed in sunflower yellow. They are calling it the colour of new love. Her saree smells of sandalwood and looks as new as the smallest bud of Bougainville, about to blossom, with the first ray of morning.

The bindi over her forehead is bright like a gleaming sun, but it doesn't radiate heat, it simply warms. Kohl in her eyes sits like a child, contended after having to play in open following a long vacation indoors. Her gaze adores the birds, prancing at the window pane. They appear like maidens out in the street, excited to go for shopping, bargaining and hoarding, every little something that make their tiny hearts full.

Her demure smile waves a welcome to aunt Spring, she has sent a handwritten invitation to. She stops by. On being inquired about her companion, summer, she says that it takes time to get summer ready.

Well, aunt Spring is beautiful. Her walk amuses Pakhi, because when she walks her feet turn the floor to a colourful meadow, sky turns to be a big orchestra playing in her honour, the music composed so dearly, the music of cooing koels and sorrows, they take a U turn at her sight.

Pakhi reflects her aunt, Spring today. Her rhythm sits beside the wind at the piano. They sing of the large fields, all orange and yellow, of lovers and love stories, of youth and dreams, of art and artists, of pastels and paintings.

As she spread the bed sheet, dyed in white, washed with indigo, one Sunday morning with the steaming vessel brewing fresh tea leaves, a lock of her hair tussles with the other to show up on her face, like blooming climbers, eager to embrace the sidewall. The wind romancing the chimes, warm light breaking through the unfurling blinds and an unknown memory pleasing the mundane with the adventures of mankind linger a little longer while she grows her arms in his hung jacket and herself in love.
