The spirit of Magh Bihu came alive at Maligaon with Bhogalir Dhemali Season 4! Hosted by the NFRMU Ladies Branch at the Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Sabhagriha, the event was a beautiful tribute to Assamese traditions.
Highlights of the day:
• 🌱 Green Tribute: GM Sri Chetan Kumar Srivastava and officers planted Nahor saplings in honor of legend Zubeen Garg.
• 🥣 Tradition in Action: The GM tried his hand at the Dheki, while Smt. Shalini Srivastava (President NFRWWO) made delicious Pithas at the Akhol.
• 💃 Cultural Splendor: From a North Eastern fashion show to a heartwarming dance by specially-abled children—who were awarded ₹10,000 for their incredible performance!
• 🏮 Authentic Decor: The premises looked stunning with a giant Pepa, Meji, and traditional boat.
