Nrityangahara It has been registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. Aims and objectives of "NRITYANGAHARA" :

a) To develop various performing arts.

The society, "NRITYANGAHARA", mainly aims at preserving the nationally recognized classical dance form "Sattriya Dance" which is believed to be a 600 years old dance tradition of Assam. b) To commemorate the birth and death anniversaries of leading luminaries. c) To organize National Integration Programme. d) It works for youth and adolescent development. e) To organize free workshops, tutorials and sessions for the underprivileged children thereby introducing them to a new world of exploration.

On the beautiful occasion of International Dance Day (29th April ,2026) Lavanya – 3rd Edition, organized by Nrityangahara, unfolded as a mesmerizing celebration of classical grace and cultural richness.

This year’s theme,
“Rhythm of the Eternal: A Classical Dance Soirée,”

We were deeply honored by the gracious presence of our esteemed guests — Kuldeep Patgiri sir
Sir, Upashana Mahanta Gogoi Baideu, and Jyoti Narayan Nath sir — whose encouragement and inspiration added immense value to the event.

A heartfelt to Handique Girls College for their constant support in making this event a grand success. Special appreciation to all our incredible performers — your passion and energy made Lavanya 3rd Edition truly unforgettable.
