On 6th July 2026, a special online guidance session was conducted via Google Meet for the PG Entrance Aspirants of Gauhati University 2026.

We were privileged to have Dr. Humi Thaosen, Assistant Professor, Department of Anthropology, Gauhati University, as our resource person. She shared valuable insights into the entrance examination, preparation strategies, and answered participants’ queries, making the session both informative and interactive.

We sincerely hope this session helps every aspirant approach the examination with greater confidence and clarity.

🙏 URGENT APPEAL FOR MEDICAL SUPPORT 🙏

This is to inform all that Mr. Maindro Kemprai (54), from Langlai Hasnu Village, Dehangi, Dima Hasao, Assam, has been diagnosed with Cancer.

He is a simple cultivator and the sole breadwinner of his family. He is currently undergoing treatment at Assam State Cancer Institute, and doctors have advised urgent care including tests, medicines, and possible surgery.

The family has already spent a large amount on treatment and is struggling with rising expenses.
