🌟 Partnering for Impact: Shaping Future Paralympic Champions! 🌟
We are thrilled to celebrate a powerful collaboration for Indian para-sports! The Wheeling Happiness Foundation and Asset Care & Reconstruction Enterprise (ACRE) have joined hands for a transformative CSR initiative: "Shaping Future Paralympic Shooting Champions."

This incredible project—brought together through the synergy and dedicated facilitation of our member, Rotarian, Kriti Makhija—is built on team collaboration, vision, and a shared commitment to inclusion.

A massive shout-out to ACRE for their futuristic thinking and leadership! By choosing to back projects with real, measurable grassroots impact, they are helping scout 300+ athletes, provide world-class adaptive equipment, and elevate national coaching standards.

It is an absolute honor to work alongside the phenomenal leadership team at Wheeling Happiness—the legendary Dr. Deepa Malik and Co-Founder Devika Malik. As international para-athletes and relentless advocates for universal inclusion, their vision continues to be an unparalleled inspiration, constantly proving the power of 'Ability Beyond Disability.'

Transforming Access into Empowerment: A One-of-a-Kind Initiative for Nari Shakti 🌟
At the Rotary Club of Delhi South, we believe that true digital inclusion isn't just about handing someone a smartphone—it’s about equipping them with the power, awareness, and confidence to use it safely.
This milestone marks another brilliant feather in our cap as we continue to drive forward our mission under the Aman Nihar Nari Shakti program.
We are incredibly proud of our collaboration with our implementation partner, ETASHA Society, on Project Digi Vittiya Saksharta. Together, we have built a one-of-a-kind capacity-building program that directly champions Nari Shakti by bridging the gap between digital access and digital safety. Over just four months, this initiative has empowered 2,518 individuals across Delhi—91% of whom are women—turning vulnerability into financial independence and digital resilience.
📣 A Huge Shout-Out to Our Leaders
A project of this scale requires incredible dedication, vision, and ex*****on. We want to give a massive shout-out to our brilliant project leader, Pramod Agarwal, and Kriti Makhija from the CSR Committee. Thank you both for your relentless efforts in mobilizing this entire initiative, aligning partners, and steering this project toward such phenomenal success!
🙌 A Humble Note of Gratitude
This impactful journey would not have been possible without the visionary support of Asset Care and Reconstruction Enterprise (ACRE).
We extend our deepest gratitude to their CSR enterprise and dedicated functionaries, Mohd. Shariq Malik and Pawan. They have consistently proven themselves to be ahead of the curve—not just identifying critical societal needs, but actively plugging the gaps through their impactful CSR programs. Thank you for your unwavering belief that digital safety is a fundamental necessity for all.

❤️ A Life Saved: A little Baby’s Journey of Hope ❤️
The Rotary Club of Delhi South is overjoyed to share the success of our first critical pediatric heart surgery with Sir Gangaram Hospital Delhi in collaboration with The Rotary Club of Millbrae under a Global Grant.

This six months old baby, was fighting a life-threatening heart condition. Recognizing the urgency, our Club stepped in to support his major surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. We are thrilled to report that he is out of the ICU and recovering beautifully! 🙏✨

We are United for Good Across Borders 🌍🤝
This miracle was made possible through a vital Global Grant partnership with the Rotary Club of Millbrae (USA). Together, we stood tall, living the Rotary theme of being united for good.

Our deepest gratitude to:
• President Janet Fogarty of Rotary Club of Millbrae for their incredible global solidarity.
• Dr. Reeta, the driving force who masterfully mobilized this grant and coordinated with the hospital to give this little one a second lease on life.

Our President Rtn Kaval Verma and PP Rtn Pramod Agarwal Agarwal visited the hospital to offer reassurance and blessings to the Baby’s resilient parents during this emotional time. They also made to the parents and the little baby aligned for surgery in the coming days under this project.

This is the true spirit of Rotary—giving the "Gift of Life" to children who need it most. Please join us in praying for his swift, complete recovery! 🩺👶❤️

Back from an incredible and enriching journey at the PELS (Presidents Elect Learning Seminar), Agra, attended along with my wife, Dr. Sheetal Dhawan, a fellow Rotarian.

This seminar was not just about leadership training—it was a transformational experience, preparing us for the responsibilities and vision of the President’s year ahead in Rotary.

We represented Zone 1 of District 3011, where participation came from three vibrant clubs – RC Delhi South, RC Delhi Central, and RC Delhi Divine. The spirit of learning, bonding, and collaboration was truly inspiring.

One of the most memorable moments was the cultural evening themed on Navratri Dance. Despite having recently undergone major spinal surgery, I felt motivated to participate—because Rotary gives you that energy and purpose.

The proudest moment, however, was when Dr. Sheetal Dhawan, beautifully portraying Maa Durga, was honoured with the “Best Dressed Female” award across the entire district—spanning 138 clubs and 34 zones.

It was a moment of immense pride, joy, and gratitude.

Rotary continues to remind us that leadership begins with belief, and service creates lasting impact.
Believe. Lead. Create

Purpose Beyond the Diagnosis: World Cancer Day 2026 🎗️
"Compassion matters. But compassion alone isn’t enough."

Today, as the world observes , we at the Rotary Club of Delhi South stand . Our mission is clear: to prevent, diagnose, and assist in treatments while raising relentless awareness about regular check-ups and life-saving vaccinations.

For many of us, this cause isn't just a project—it’s personal.
Cancer patient/ survivor(s) in our own families continue to embody resilience, choosing purpose not in spite of the diagnosis, but beyond it. That choice has deeply shaped how we see this day. It reminds us that while the numbers are hard—with 20 million new cases globally and a projected 77% increase by 2050—behind every statistic is a family navigating uncertainty.

Taking the Lead for Change 🤝
We are supremely proud of our dedicated club members who are turning empathy into intentional action. Their leadership ensures that we aren't just talking about awareness, but building systems of support:
✨ Vandana Bhalla
✨ Dr. Vaneeta Kapur
✨ Dr. Shweta Javali
✨ Dr. Neeraj Bhalla
Our past president over years and our present president Kaval Verma….and the many others supporting them in driving these vital health initiatives forward.

We are pushing for:
✅ Equitable Access to vaccination and treatment: Prevention, Detection and treatment shouldn't be determined by geography or caste or any other social paradigm
✅ Empowered Prevention: Education embedded in the heart of our communities.
✅ Holistic Support: Healthcare that cares for the family as much as the patient.

Cancer alters lives, relationships, and livelihoods. But hope is not passive. It is something we choose, nurture, and build together—one action, one conversation, one life at a time.

Join us in amplifying hope. Let’s move beyond inspiration to real impact.
