Jhuma, a 24 year old migrant from Kolkata, is working as a domestic helper for an affluent family in South City, Gurgaon. Her husband Bijoy, is working as an Office Boy in a big corporate house in Cyber City. They have two children- a 3 year old boy and 5 year old girl. omewhere around Rs. 25,000- Rs.30,000. They are hardly able to make ends meet, let alone bearing the cost of a surgical procedure. Bijoy aspires to become a Data Entry Operator but lacks the skills required for the same. They both are yearning for bringing their children to Gurgaon but they don’t know if they will be able to enrol them in a school that provides quality education and is not an expensive affair at that. Jhuma’s employers are both working professionals. The lady of the house, Sanchita is sensitive to Jhuma’s problems but she does not have the time or the information required to resolve these issues.
