Eklavya is a school providing basic and free education to underprivileged children in – Prempuri Jhuggi area of Jharsa, Gurgaon. We have around 600 underprivileged children of this area and the effort is to bring them at par with students of their age, so that they can be sent to a good public school. 100+ students have already been sent to a regular schools in last few years. We further support C
hildren in terms of continuous monitoring and provide regular guidance/ coaching/ motivation to the children, put them in regular schools, provide free medical support etc. We intend to train these students and make them competent to get into government run- Navodya Schools in years to come. So that their quality education is self-sustaining and we ensure the making of a responsible educated citizen with a better quality of life
The students are making very good progress and we hope they would help in making a learnt society
