At the Global Leaders Forum of the International Conference on “ESG, Transversality for Sustainable Water–Energy–Health & Environment Nexus, on 6th March, 2026 at New Delhi”, the CEO of GWPO & Executive Secretary of GWP, Mr. Alex Simalabwi, emphasized in his keynote address that “Evidence must drive policy, stakeholders must be empowered to implement, and citizens must be engaged as part of the solution.”

Also GWP India, as part of the GWPO Global South Leadership Architecture for Water Investment, will join GWP partners around the world in advancing Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) in the country.

We are delighted to share that Shri Kishore Jaiswal, a proud partner of IWP from Munger, , has been honoured with the 2025 in the (East Zone) category!

His exceptional work in developing rainwater-harvesting structures and promoting improved irrigation practices has helped reclaim 10,000 hectares of land—an inspiring contribution to water .

The award was presented by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, during the 6th National Water Awards & Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari Awards organized by the National Water Mission, Ministry of Jal Shakti, on 18th November, 2025 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

On behalf of the entire IWP fraternity, we congratulate our partner Shri Jaiswal for three decades of tireless dedication to water conservation. His work reflects the mission of building a water-secure India through collective action.

Today, a workshop on Ecosystem Restoration in the Region of Haryana was organized by Safe Water Network India in collaboration with India Water Partnership and WAPCOS Limited at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Mr. Subhash Yadav, Conservator of Forests, South Gurugram, Government of Haryana inaugurated the workshop and delivered inaugural address.

Experts from different biodiversity park, technical organisations and practitioners from Wapcos,IWP,DAVPG ,Delhi University shared their work and experiences.

The Aravalli Hills, among the world’s oldest mountain ranges, stretch across Haryana and play a vital role in recharge, , and combating desertification. The workshop highlighted the urgent need to and this fragile ecosystem to ensure ecological balance and sustainable development in the region.
