Rotary Club of Gurgaon Cosmopolitan Organises Impactful Blood Donation Drive at Grand Arch, Gurugram.
In July, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to humanitarian service and community welfare, Rotary Club of Gurgaon Cosmopolitan (RCGC) successfully organised a Blood Donation Drive at IREO Victory Valley, Gurugram, in collaboration with the Rotary Blood Centre Gurugram, operated by the Rotary Club of Gurgaon South City Community Services Society.
The initiative received an overwhelming response from residents, Rotarians, volunteers and supporters, reaffirming the belief that a few minutes of one's time can become a lifetime of hope for someone in need. The camp reflected the true spirit of Rotary—bringing together compassionate individuals united by a common purpose of saving lives and strengthening the community through selfless service.
The camp successfully collected 26 units of blood, while 5 prospective donors were deferred after mandatory medical screening, following the highest standards of donor safety and quality protocols.
The Club extends its heartfelt gratitude to Rtn. Naveen Singh, Savita Ji, Neeru Ji, Rajan Ji, Lalita Ji, Rajendra Ji, Neerja Ji, and Rtn. Puneet Chadha, along with young volunteer Saiansh, for dedicating their valuable time and personally contributing to this life-saving initiative. Their enthusiastic participation and unwavering support exemplify Rotary's guiding principle of "Service Above Self."
Leading from the front, Club Secretary Rtn. Anjjalii Mathhur, Rtn. Puneet Chadha, and Rtn. Neerja Ji also donated blood, inspiring others to participate in this noble cause and reinforcing the message that true leadership begins with personal action.
