๐๐ Climate change is not just an environmental crisis, itโs also a social one.
Floods, heatwaves, droughts, and storms are increasingly disrupting schooling in India and across the world. Classrooms are damaged, children are forced to migrate, and many, especially girls, are pushed out of education entirely.
The World Bank estimates that climate shocks could keep millions of children out of school, undoing years of progress in literacy and development.
Education is both a victim of climate change and a solution because climate literacy empowers communities to adapt, innovate, and build resilience.
๐ Itโs time we recognize schools as critical spaces for climate action, not collateral damage.
