📚🌍 Climate change is not just an environmental crisis, it’s also a social one.

Floods, heatwaves, droughts, and storms are increasingly disrupting schooling in India and across the world. Classrooms are damaged, children are forced to migrate, and many, especially girls, are pushed out of education entirely.

The World Bank estimates that climate shocks could keep millions of children out of school, undoing years of progress in literacy and development.

Education is both a victim of climate change and a solution because climate literacy empowers communities to adapt, innovate, and build resilience.

👉 It’s time we recognize schools as critical spaces for climate action, not collateral damage.

On 31st July, 3R ZeroWaste Environment Foundation felicitated 20 inspiring Sarpanches of Nuh for their exceptional grassroots leadership in saturating key indicators under the Sampoornata Abhiyaan by NITI Aayog. 🌿

The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries — Zila Parishad Chairman Jan Mohd, District Collector Vishram Kumar Meena, CEO ZP Pradeep Ahlawat, BJP District President Surendra Kumar, and SDM Ashok Kumar ji, who all acknowledged the remarkable efforts made at the village and block levels.

As part of the ZeroWaste initiative, Dr. Simi Mishra and Khushi Divakar also interacted with women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to understand their challenges around market linkages, value addition, and income generation — paving the way for stronger rural entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.

Thanks to the dedicated team of Shri Prashant Parinda ji, Dr. Simi Mishra, Khushi Divakar, Abhay Bhadauriya, and Krishan Kumar, the event was successfully conducted as a 100% ZeroWaste event — a true model of sustainable event management. ♻️

📝 Surveys were conducted to map waste practices.
📢 Awareness sessions spread the 3R message.
🚮 Dustbins were donated and installed for waste segregation.
🛍️ Jute bags were distributed to promote plastic-free living.
