Meeting of worlds. An ‘Inclusive Ecosystem’.
These are some of the phrases that come to mind when one thinks about the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and Pragati, Gurgaon.
Both are dynamic, evolving, and aimed at creating structured pathways that help build resilient, empowered minds for the future of India, not merely as a vision on paper, but as an obligation to the next generation.
The NEP framework brings together the 5+3+3+4 school structure, vocational training and holistic assessment, with a larger emphasis on making quality education accessible to every child.
And perhaps the most meaningful part is taking that vision to the underserved, often to children who are the first gen learners in their families to enter the portals of formal education.
Working in tandem with this larger national vision, Pragati has been a torchbearer in its own community and steadily working towards:
• Increasing the enrollment of girl students year after year.
• Advancing STEM-based learning.
• Encouraging holistic development through sports, art, cultural activities and wellness sessions.
• Supplementing midday meals with nutritious food.
• Supporting parents who may themselves have had limited access to education.
• Bringing digital literacy and tools into primary education through Interactive SMART Panels, LED displays and other digital learning equipment, with the support of our donor partners.
Through changing times and evolving approaches to education, Pragati remains committed to its mission:
