Proud Moment for Sohna! 📚✨

The Sohna community witnessed an inspiring milestone with the inauguration of the new library established by Dr. Shameem Qureshi, President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Trust. This space isn’t just about books—it’s about opening doors for every child and youth to dream, learn, and achieve.

Shri N.C. Wadhwa, IAS (Retd.), ex Director Education and one of Haryana’s most respected education leaders, spoke in his gracious words: “A library is the foundation of a vibrant and curious society. This initiative by APJ Trust will ignite young minds in Sohna and set a benchmark for community development.”

With this library, Sohna now joins the map of towns focused on educational empowerment. Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Shameem Qureshi for her vision and commitment to nurturing the next generation.

📚 Library Inauguration at Govt. Model Sanskriti Sr. Sec. School, Sohna (Gurugram)

On 10th September, a new library was inaugurated at Govt. Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, Sohna (Gurugram).
The library is well-stocked with 2,500+ books, including NCERTs, competitive exam resources (NEET, JEE, CLAT, SSC, CUET), as well as literature and storybooks to encourage a love for reading.

A dedicated reading room with seating for 30–40 students has also been created, providing a peaceful space for focused study and learning.

This initiative will serve as a valuable resource for students, helping them excel academically while also nurturing a lifelong reading habit.

Exciting News! 🌟 Volunteers from the APJ Abdul Kalam Trust have been hard at work setting up a brand new library at Govt Model Sanskriti School, Sohna. The library room has been beautifully spruced up, tables and chairs are being placed, and books are filling up the shelves! 📚

We’ve collected a wide range of books—including NCERT textbooks, competition prep books, the complete works of Munshi Premchand and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, as well as informative books on General Knowledge and more.

We’re eager to finish the final touches and can’t wait to officially hand over this wonderful new space to the school very soon! Thank you to everyone supporting this initiative! 🙏✨
