Dr.Sarabpreet Singh, MBBS, MD, is a reputed and well-known figure in the field of clinical embryology and assisted reproduction in India. He did his post-graduate training in Human Anatomy from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi in the year 2007. During his MD years, he acq
uired systematic laboratory skills and developed a keen interest in clinical embryology. He was the first embryologist in the country to be certified as a Senior Clinical Embryologist by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), as well as the Indian Fertility Society (IFS). Dr. Sarabpreet has a rich experience of 13 years in the field, which includes 11 years at the Artemis Health Institute, a leading IVF center of Delhi-NCR. He has great expertise in setting up, running, maintaining, and troubleshooting IVF labs. During all these years, Dr. Sarabpreet has been actively teaching and demonstrating various andrology and embryology procedures to trainees, ranging from semen analysis, Computer Assisted Semen Analysis (CASA), IVF, ICSI, IMSI, Vitrification, Embryo Biopsies and use of Laser. He was the convenor for ‘Special Interest Group on Clinical Embryology’ for 2018-20, for which he was awarded the ‘Best Convenor’ at the IFS Annual Conference, 2019. He received the ‘Champion of ISAR’ award at the annual ISAR Conference, 2020. He is presently the convenor for the ‘Special Interest Group on Applied Genetics, IFS from 2020-22. Dr. Sarabpreet has published articles in reputed journals and contributed chapters in various books on ART. He is an invited speaker at various national conferences and forums. His areas of interest are cryobiology and male infertility.
