Legal & Health Awareness Training Program at Sangam Vihar

We successfully conducted a Legal & Health Awareness Training Program at Sangam Vihar, where 73 women and adolescent girls from the local slum community actively participated.

The programme was organized in collaboration with the South District Legal Services Authority, whose team led engaging sessions on women’s legal rights, protection laws, and access to justice mechanisms. Their guidance helped participants better understand available legal remedies and support systems.

The health awareness segment was conducted by the team from Holy Family College of Nursing, focusing on Reproductive and Child Health (RCH), menstrual hygiene, and preventive healthcare practices.

This initiative aimed to empower women and adolescent girls with critical knowledge to make informed decisions about their rights, health, and wellbeing.

When awareness increases, confidence grows — and communities become stronger.

🌈 Celebrating Childhood, Learning & Hope! 🌈

The Children’s Day celebration at our Learning Centre in Sangam Vihar was filled with laughter, creativity, and inspiration! 💫

Students showcased their talents through colourful dances, songs, and skits — celebrating the joy and innocence of childhood. 🎶✨
A total of 33 students received certificates for their achievements under the Skill Development and Education Projects supported by Nora Solomon Foundation (NSF) and implemented by St. Gianelli Social Service Society. 🌿

We were honoured by the presence of Mrs. Chanderlekha Solomon , Ms. Nancy Barlow, and Fr. Johnson Puther, whose words of encouragement truly inspired the children to dream big and keep learning. 💚

Every child has a spark — and together, we’re helping it shine brighter! 🌟
