Under the guidance and in presence of our beloved General Secretary Shri. K. Ravi Kumar and under the able leadership of Shri. Sachin Waikar OGS and CCO, Team CBOA Pune successfully conducted the Circle Level joint meeting today at Circle Office Pune. It was the maiden CLJM after new Circle Head and General Manager Shri. G A Anupam joined at Pune Circle Office. There were fruitful discussions between the representatives of Canara Bank Officers’ Association and the Management.

Various issues discussed at today’s CLJM are as follows:

1. Intensive Credit Training: On-the-job training to equip the Sulabh/RAH staff to cater to the needs of the customers in Credit and other sensitive issues to reduce the TAT (Turn Around Time).
2. Infrastructure: Face-lifting and renovation of Branch Premises and providing adequate, quality infrastructure for effective customer service and smooth functioning of the branches.
3. Holiday Homes: Facility of Bank Holiday Home at Pune and Lonavala shall be taken up with Head Office.
4. Improvement of Staff Quarters: Staff Quarters at Pune and Nagpur can be improved with necessary repairs and renovations.
5. Staff Shortages: Shortages in branches, irrespective of cadre, shall be addressed at the earliest to ensure smooth customer service with reduced TAT.
6. Equipment Replacement: Old ATMs and BNAs with a book value of ₹5/- shall be replaced with new machines to avoid customer complaints.
7. DLP Package Issues: Challenges faced by branches because of the DLP package need to be taken up with Head Office for smooth functioning of branches and to avoid customer dissatisfaction.
8. Data Collection: Multiple telephone calls to branch officials for the collection of data, which can otherwise be extracted by the controlling offices through MIS reports available on the very next day, need to be avoided. Repetitive calls from various controlling offices and call centres which disrupt regular functioning at the field level need to be minimized.
9. Cafeteria and Sports Centre at Circle Office:
Facelifting of cafeteria at CO may be done, and Sports Centre may be established.

CBOA Team Pune under the able leadership of Shri. Sachin Waikar OGS and CCO heartily welcomed our beloved General Secretary Sri.K Ravi Kumar to the City of Pune.

Joint Regional Committee meeting of the members of Pune Unit was successfully conducted yesterday in the presence of our beloved General Secretary. A gathering of around 100 members was witnessed at the meeting.

Various industry level issues were discussed in detail at the meeting. Our beloved General Sceretary guided us on the various important values to be imbibed in our day to day living for leading a purposeful life.

It’s often said that a mother is the closest thing to God we will ever see on this earth. Long before we understand anything else, we understand the safety of her arms and the sound of her voice.

A mother's love is the foundation everything else is built on, and the way they care, protect and nurture, with a kindness that forgives us before we even say we’re sorry.

We also know that this kind of love doesn't just happen, it’s built out of a million small sacrifices. It’s the sleep they lost and the way they always put everyone else’s needs before their own. Today is the day to finally acknowledge that weight.

Let us take a real moment to look her in the eyes and tell her how much she means to us. We shouldn’t let these days pass with just a quick card or a hurried phone call. Go out of your way to show her the kind of gentle care she has always given you. *Let’s not make her to wait for our calls*. Let’s not keep her waiting whenever tries reaching to us. Let not a single day pass, without talking to her. Let’s treasure them.

Dr. B R Ambedkar, the towering personality is a jurist, economist, reformer and nation builder, who devoted his entire life for ensuring justice, equality and dignity for the underprivileged. His continuous pursuit of social transformation and solid courage, reshaped the destiny of our nation.
