On March 07, 2026 a special program "Child Marriage Mukta Kalaburagi" to stop child marriage was organized at HKE Society's Degree College, Near Old RTO office, Kalaburagi. The event was jointly organized by the High Court Bench, Kalaburagi, Child Protection Directorate, Bangalore, District Administration, Zilla Panchayayath, District Legal Services Authority, Department of Women & Child Welfare, Police Department, DCPO Unit, Child Helpline 1098/112,Just Rights for Children & Margadarshi Society Kalaburagi. The program officially inaugurated by Shri Srinivas Navale, Senior Judge & District Legal Services Cell, Shri.Rajkumar . S. Kabaganti, High court justice, Shri.T.N Rohit C.J, DCWC President, Shri. Vishwaradhys K, Deputy Superintendent Police, Shri Praveen Nayak, Lakshman Sringeri, DCPO Manjula Patil, Anandraj Director Margadarshi Society & ZP members Kalaburagi.

Shri.Srinivas Navale, Senior Judge & President District Legal Authority Cell, Kalaburagi administered the pledge to all the audience present, to stop child marriage.

In the same program the "International Women's Day" was also observed by Margadarshi & Just Rights for Children and women were honoured. The Director of Margadarshi society addressed the function by briefing Key Themes for a 2026 Women's Day

On February 10, 2026 a special Ratha Yathra campaign to stop child marriage was launched from Afzalpur taluka Court Campus. The event was jointly organized by the Child Protection Directorate, Bangalore, District Administration, Zilla Panchayayath, District Legal Services Authority, Department of Women & Child Welfare, Police Department, DCPO Unit, Child Helpline 1098/112,Just Rights for Children & Margadarshi Society Kalaburagi. The program officially started the event by flagging off a "Prachara Rath" (an awareness van) at Afzalpur by Hon'ble Senior Civil Judge Shri.Vinayaka Mayanna, Shri.Anil Amate, CDPO Shri.Praveen. The Supvisor Women & Child Welfare Dept., Shri.Sanju Kumar, Tahsildar, CEO Shri.Veeranna Kauli, & Staff of 1098, & Anganwadi workers were present on the occasion. Mr.Anandraj Director Margadarshi Society said that child marriage is a serious violation of a child's rights. This awareness van went from Afzalpur to Tellur, Ganagapur, Mudwal, Ghatterga villages, giving message to stop child marriage and give importance to education.

Today on 11/02/2026, under the joint initiative of Directorate of Child Protection Bangalore, District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, District Legal Services Authority, Women & Child Development Department, Police Department, School Education Department, District Child Protection Unit, Child Helpline 1098/112, a guiding organization, Margadarshi Society, Access for Justice, Just Rights for Children, the launch/inauguration program of the Child Marriage Free Rath Sanchar under the Central Government's campaign "Child Marriage Free India/Karnataka" was organized at the premises of Jewargi Taluka Court.

Inauguration of the said program administered by Hon'ble Mrs. Tayib Sultana Senior Civil Judge and Class One Team Officers and Chairman Taluk Legal Services Authority and Judges. Shri Kashinath V Uppar, Principal Civil Judge, President Lawyers Association Jewargi and Anganwadi Supervisor and Supervisor Women and Child Development Department, and Helpline 1098 staff, the Director of the guidance institute, staff, anganwadi workers and police were present.

On 8th February 2026, Child MarriageFree Rath yatra program commenced at Gurmitkal Taluka, which was led by Village Key Community Elders & general public, Anganwadi Supervisors, Teachers & ASHA workers. Here too the awareness van has already covered visiting villages like Gurmitalkal, Madhwara, Kalabelagundi, Sannasambra, Doddasambra & Baddepalli, giving awareness to stop the Child Marriage and give utmost importance to the girl child education.

On 7th February 2026, Child MarriageFree Rath yatra program commenced at Surpur(Shorapur) Taluka, which was led by Tahsildar Shri.HA Sarakavas and Child Labour Department officials Chaudhary and Sharanappa and CDPO Shri Bhimarao. Director Anandraj, Margadarshi Society spoke regarding organizations' role & the impact of the Ratha Yatra. Anganwadi Supervisors, teaches & ASHA workers have also participated. On 6th February 2026, Shahapur Taluk the Rath Yatra was lanuched in Shahapur under the leadership of Tahsildar Shri.Siddarudha Bannikoppa and Shri Mallanna Desai, presided by CDPO Bhimrao and Bar Association President Mallanna Kuri, Shivshekhar, Mission Shakti resource person Yellappa and Gulzar from the Health Department, Anganwadi supervisors, teachers, and ASHA workers participated in large numbers. On February 5, 2026 a special campaign to stop child marriage was launched in Yadagiri. The event was organized by the District Legal Services Authority, along with two organization i.e. Just Rights for Children & Margadarshi. Judge Marulasiddaradhya H.J officially started the event by flagging off a "Prachara Rath" (an awareness van) at the DLSA premises. And explained that child marriage is a serious violation of a child's rights. He noted that while we have laws against it, the real way to stop children marriage is a by educating people in every village. The awareness van has already visited several villages, including Mundargi, Honagera, Belagera & Bandalli
