Day 2 at the Supreme Court of India | Experiential Learning Beyond the Classroom

On 23 September 2026, the students of the School of Law, Bennett University had the valuable opportunity to visit the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi, an enriching experience that brought constitutional principles, judicial processes, and legal practice closer to the classroom.

The visit provided Law students with an opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the functioning of Indiaโ€™s apex judicial institution and to appreciate the importance of advocacy, constitutional governance, judicial reasoning, and the rule of law.

A day of learning, observation and experience beyond the classroom.

As part of the Experiential Legal Learning Programme, the School of Law, Bennett University commenced its two-day educational visit to the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi, with the first batch of students on 22 September 2026.

The visit provided students with an opportunity to witness the functioning of the apex judicial institution, observe court proceedings, and explore the Judgesโ€™ Library and the National Judicial Museum & Archive (NJM&A).

The museum experience offered students an engaging journey through the history and evolution of the Supreme Court and Indiaโ€™s judicial heritage, with the use of AI-enabled and interactive technologies making the experience more immersive and bringing the institutionโ€™s rich history to life.

For aspiring legal professionals, experiencing the judicial environment first-hand is an invaluable part of legal education. The visit enabled students to connect classroom concepts with the realities of courts, judicial processes and the administration of justice.

As part of the Employability Enhancement Programme for final-year Law students, Bennett Finishing School organised an Employability Symposium bringing together the Placement Team, School of Law, and Bennett Finishing School to help students prepare strategically for their professional journey.

The symposium featured insightful sessions by industry experts on the Indian and global legal markets, emerging career opportunities, and effective strategies to build industry readiness.

Students also participated in focused sessions on self-introduction, professional communication, resume building, and creating an industry-ready resume.

Through meaningful conversations and community outreach, we aimed to bridge the gap between people and access to justice because knowing your rights is the first step towards protecting them.
