It plays a vital role in improving and uplifting the health status of various communities, providing educational opportunities, skill development for employment and most importantly protecting the environment through community awareness initiatives.

📍𝗕𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗮, 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗮

Sharda Hospital, in collaboration with Sharda Welfare Foundation and Nagar Panchayat Barsana, Mathura, organised a 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸-𝘂𝗽 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 on 25 July 2026 to bring quality healthcare closer to the community.

The camp offered specialist consultations, eye examinations, ECG, Bone Mineral Density (BMD) screening, blood sugar, blood pressure and BMI screening, haemoglobin testing, weight and vitamin assessment, free medicines, along with support for eligible beneficiaries.

By combining the medical expertise of Sharda Hospital with the community outreach efforts of Sharda Welfare Foundation, the initiative promoted preventive healthcare, enabled early detection, and strengthened access to essential health services for residents.

Many people associate lifestyle diseases with older age. Our experience tells a different story.

Through Sharda Welfare Foundation's NCD Screening Initiative, we have screened 8,262+ individuals and supported 3,550+ vulnerable individuals with referrals and access to further treatment.

What stands out is that 30% of those screened were under 40 — a reminder that health risks do not wait until old age.

Early screening, timely intervention, and greater awareness can help prevent serious health conditions before they escalate.

This World Environment Day, students of Government School, Lakhnawali, Noida, participated in a plantation drive under the initiative. Beyond planting saplings, the activity focused on encouraging environmental responsibility among young minds and promoting sustainable practices within communities.

Over the years, Sharda Welfare Foundation has engaged with more than 500 government schools across Gautam Buddha Nagar through education, health, and awareness programmes. We believe that environmental stewardship must begin early and be strengthened through collective action.
