_Throwing it back to a week of impact, learning, and meaningful action._
Pro Bono Week 7.0 was more than a series of events—it was a reminder of the power of legal awareness, community engagement, and collective effort in advancing access to justice. ⚖️
From insightful interactions to impactful outreach initiatives, every moment contributed to a larger purpose: making the law more accessible and inclusive for all.
Grateful to everyone who was part of this journey and helped turn ideas into impact. The week may be over, but the commitment to justice continues.

More than a mela. More than an event. A movement.
Swayam Siddhi Mela 2.0 brought together changemakers, artisans, NGOs, and community members for a day filled with purpose, empowerment, and impact.
From inspiring stories and meaningful conversations to sustainable products and local talent, every stall reflected the spirit of self-reliance and collective growth.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible partners — Anju Ruab, Goonj, Sukriti, Devodhyog Foundation, Saikripa NGO, and Socionet NGO — for making this celebration of community and sustainability possible.
To everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, and believed in the vision: thank you for being part of something bigger than ourselves.
Together, we’re creating opportunities, empowering lives, and building a stronger community—one step at a time.

Pro Bono Week 7.0 at Bennett University may have concluded, but its message continues to resonate — “Nyaya-Parmarth Setu: Towards Inclusive Justice.”

From legal awareness drives to community outreach initiatives, this week was a collective effort to bridge the gap between law and society. It reminded us that justice becomes truly meaningful when it is accessible, inclusive, and rooted in service.

Through every interaction, activity, and conversation, students, faculty members, and communities came together with one shared purpose — to take legal awareness and support to those who need it the most.

As we look back at the inaugural ceremony and the journey that followed, we carry forward the spirit of compassion, responsibility, and commitment to social justice.

Because the true impact of law lies not just in courts, but in reaching every corner of society.

The right to vote is the foundation of democracy. An informed voter understands their rights, duties, and the power their vote holds in shaping the nation’s future.

Democracy grows stronger when citizens vote responsibly and choose their representatives based on integrity, accountability, and commitment to public welfare. 🇮🇳

Under Project Astitva, the Legal Aid Committee undertook an awareness drive for on campus female blue-collar staff with the aim of informing and empowering them about One-Stop Centres —government-established facilities that provide comprehensive support to women facing violence or distress. The drive focused on spreading awareness about the availability of free and immediate services such as medical assistance, legal aid, psychological counselling, police facilitation, and temporary shelter, all accessible through a single-window mechanism. By enhancing legal awareness at the grassroots level, the initiative sought to ensure that women are informed of their rights, aware of available institutional support, and encouraged to seek timely assistance in a safe and dignified manner.

Equality. Dignity. Safety.

Under Project Astitva, the Legal Aid Committee successfully conducted POSH Awareness Workshop – Session 1, with a focused emphasis on gender sensitisation, which forms the very foundation of understanding the spirit and purpose of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.

The session was led by Dr. Khushboo Natholia, Assistant Professor, and aimed to foster respectful attitudes, challenge deep-rooted stereotypes, and encourage empathy and awareness regarding gender dynamics in professional and institutional spaces. Through meaningful dialogue and interactive discussion, the workshop highlighted individual responsibilities as well as the role of institutional mechanisms in ensuring safety, dignity, and equality for all.
