🌿 पीलीभीत से एक नई आजीविका की शुरुआत 🌿

आज JPM Society द्वारा पीलीभीत टाइगर रिजर्व क्षेत्र की सेहला ग्राम पंचायत में महिलाओं के साथ हस्तशिल्प एवं Banana Fibre आधारित आजीविका विकास पर एक प्रेरणादायक बैठक आयोजित की गई।

क्षेत्र में उपलब्ध स्थानीय संसाधनों, विशेषकर केले के तनों से निकलने वाले रेशे को आय के नए अवसर में बदलने पर चर्चा हुई। महिलाओं ने Banana Fibre से बनने वाले उत्पादों को लेकर उत्साह दिखाया और गोरखपुर स्थित JPM Society Banana Fibre Centre का भ्रमण करने की इच्छा भी जताई, ताकि वे सीखकर अपने गांव में आत्मनिर्भरता की नई कहानी लिख सकें।

इस अवसर पर DDM NABARD, पीलीभीत श्री चंद्र प्रकाश जी एवं DC NRLM वंदना सिंह मैडम की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही। साथ ही, सेहला ग्राम पंचायत के 3-4 स्वयं सहायता समूहों ने अपनी महिलाओं को प्रशिक्षण एवं exposure visit हेतु गोरखपुर भेजने की सहमति प्रदान की।

Proud moment for JPM Society, Gorakhpur as we showcased products handcrafted by women from rural clusters of the Gorakhpur region at the COWE UP Chapter – Cowe Mart Exhibition.

These beautiful products are the outcome of dedicated skill development training, handholding support, and livelihood promotion initiatives conducted by JPM Society for rural women entrepreneurs. Through capacity building and market linkage opportunities, women are transforming their skills into sustainable livelihoods and economic independence.

This exhibition served as a meaningful platform to connect rural women-led enterprises with wider markets and celebrate the spirit of women entrepreneurship, self-reliance, and local craftsmanship.

Together, we are working towards creating stronger livelihood ecosystems and empowering women to become changemakers in their communities. 💫

Empowering rural women through the banana value chain initiative in Kushinagar 🍌✨

With support from the Kushinagar district administration, JPM Society met with SHG members and, along with the team, demonstrated the full banana value chain. The session highlighted how women entrepreneurs can actively participate in different stages of the value chain and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for themselves and their families.

Together towards women empowerment, rural entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. 🌱

📍 Review Meet of Rural Haat – Bhaishi, Kushinagar

A productive review meeting was successfully held at Rural Haat, Bhaishi (Kushinagar) in the presence of Mr. Tuhin Srivastava, Secretary of JPM Society, and Mr. Rahul Yadav, DDM NABARD Kushinagar.

The meeting witnessed active participation from village farmers and local traders, focusing on strengthening rural markets, boosting farmer income, and enhancing business opportunities at the Rural Haat.
