💚 Step Towards Uplifting!

Today, we had the privilege of meeting with the women from four villages in our Mandal valley, Uttrakhand to discuss their vision for the future of the community development center. Their top priority was clear: education for their children. While other needs such as spice mixes, herbal teas, and sewing classes were also mentioned, it was the desire for better educational opportunities that stood out the most.

In response to this, we are excited to announce that we’ve already begun English communication skills classes today! This is just the beginning, and we are eager to continue working closely with both the children and women in the community to foster positive change and build a brighter future together.

Stay tuned for more updates on our progress, and we can’t wait to share more of the exciting steps we are taking to support the growth and development of our valley.

A sacred Pooja was performed to purify the energy of our retreat, nestled in the land of Shiva and the valley of Goddesses, where divine blessings continuously surround us. We pray for positive energy to fill our space, the people connected to it, and our family. No matter the struggles we face, we stand strong and unwavering, for we are shielded by this powerful, godly energy. We are ready to fight and rise above any challenges that come our way.

Our all-women group is celebrating a heartfelt farewell, surrounded by the laughter and joy of local women dancing, eating, hugging, and shedding a few tears. It’s a beautiful moment of intercultural exchange as our local women dress our guests in traditional saris and teach them the graceful Himalayan dances. What a perfect way to bid adieu to the mountains and celebrate the incredible bond we’ve formed. 💚
