More than 300 patients receive free treatment at Merapani

With transparency, dedication, and a strong sense of social responsibility, Udyam Social Development Foundation has been actively taking various initiatives for the welfare of the people and has been benefiting the general public in different areas of Golaghat district.
Today, with the full cooperation of ONGC Limited Assam and the Arakan Basin, and with the assistance of Merapani Press Club, Utthan Seva Samiti, and Jorhat Lions Eye Hospital, Udyam Social Development Foundation organized a completely free medical camp for the first time at the premises of Merapani Bordubi Jatiya Vidyalaya in Golaghat district, with the objective of benefiting the people of the Assam–Nagaland border areas.
As part of this important initiative, more than 300 patients from the Merapani region were provided with free medical treatment along with free medicines. The medical camp was supervised by Sanjay Kumar, President of Utthan Seva Samiti, and Amar Jyoti Borthakur, Chief Coordinator of Jorhat Lions Eye Hospital.
The camp, which began at 10 a.m., was observed by Divyajyoti Bora, Support Manager, ONGC Assam and Arakan Basin; Satish Murray, General Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme and Human Resources Officer; along with Rubul Saikia, Secretary of Udyam Social Development Foundation; Manoj Saikia, Public Relations Officer; and executive member Utpal Bora.
In addition, Merapani Press Club Secretary Bhadreswar Bora, Joint Secretary Rajumoni Saikia, and members Babul Das, Anamal Yadav, and Mahendra Saikia were also present and extended special cooperation to make the program a success.
