PAINTING HELPS DIFFERENTLY ABLED CHILD TO DEVELOP COGNITIVE AND MOTOR SKILLS. IT HELPS THEM TO IMPROVE FOCUS, REDUCE ANXIETY, INCREASE SELF ESTEEM AND BUILDS UP A SENSE OF ACHIEVEMENT. LAXMI NARAYAN TRUST HAD ORGANISED A PAINTING COMPETITION FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS OF LOKVISHWAS PRATISHTAN SCHOOL, MARCEL, GOA, ON JULY 16, 2026. AROUND 19 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE COMPETITION. THESE SPECIAL CHILDREN DISPLAYED THEIR AMAZING ART AT THE EVENT. MR. Rupesh Manjarekar, MEDICAL REPRESENTATIVE OF ALEMBIC PHARMA DONATED EDUCATIONAL KIT TO THE SCHOOL. LAXMI NARAYAN TRUST SINCERELY THANK THE SCHOOL MANAGEMENT FOR GIVING THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE THESE SPECIAL STUDENTS. WE PAY OUR SINCERE GRATITUDE TO SHOBHA GAWAS ( SCHOOL IN CHARGE), REENA NADKARNI, RUPESH NAIK, SHRUTIKA PALKAR & ALL THE NON TEACHING STAFF FOR THEIR CO OPERATION DURING THE EVENT.

On the occasion of Rabies Awareness Month , Laxmi Narayan Trust conducted Rabies Awareness talk at Lokvishwas Pratishtan School, Dhavali , Ponda, Goa. Dr Nilesh Usgaonkar delivered the talk on Rabies, Transmission of the virus, Animals that causes rabies , Categories of bite, Incubation period of rabies virus, General measures in preventing rabies, Types of Antirabies Vaccine , Post exposure & Pre exposure Vaccination Schedule , Rabies Immunoglobulins and Monoclonal Antibodies, High risk category animals, Symptoms of Rabies. Preventive Strategies and Community Measures, Various commonly asked question regarding Rabies was discussed. Dr Nilesh Usgaonkar discussed the Law that safeguards the rights of stray animals and stray feeder.
Around 70 Teaching Staff members attended this informative session. Laxmi Narayan Trust sincerely thank the Management of the School for giving this opportunity.

LAXMI NARAYAN TRUST SPREADS SMILE

Laxmi Narayan Trust organised Painting Competition for the Special Students of Keshav Seva Sadhana School, Valpoi, Goa. After conducting the drawing competition Gurudatt D Vantekar Art Teacher of the same school judged the student's art. All 40 Special Students had a day filled with fun and frolic.These Special Students took part in various games designed by the School's P.T. Teacher . The event was focussed on Special Children and their enjoyment. Teacher compered the programme, while School In Charge Trupti Desai proposed vote of thanks.
Laxmi Narayan Trust pay our sincere gratitude to all the Staff of the school for conducting this event in a beffiting manner. Special thanks to Mantesh Kadur of Cellage Division of Meyer Organic Pvt. Ltd. for providing the balloons and crowns for these Special Students. It was very touching to have spent a Special Day with these lovely children and having done our bit to spread smiles around. I was amazed by the painting talent as well as the enthusiasm that these children displayed during their participation in various games.
