We’ve become very good at switching on.
We’ve forgotten how to switch off.
Always moving.
Always connected.
Always on.
When we create space to slow down, breathe and be still, we give the body a chance to shift out of its stress response and support the parasympathetic nervous system — the body’s natural “rest and restore” mode. Heart rate and breathing slow and cortisol, one of the body’s primary stress hormones, can begin to come down.
At Kyo, we believe wellness needs both.
Movement and stillness.
Connection and solitude.
Doing and simply being.
Our retreats create the space to slow down, tune in and come back to yourself.
Not to escape your life.
To return to it differently.
