Goa Animal Welfare Trust (GAWT) Goa Animal Welfare Trust (GAWT) Donations can be made via www.gawt.org and every gift helps us reach more animals in need.

We are a registered non-profit non-government animal welfare organisation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of stray, injured and abandoned animals in South Goa.We receive no financial help from Government agencies, the bulk of our running costs are met through donations from the public. We collect, sterilise and vaccinate against rabies up to 2,000 stray dogs annually. Each of th

ese dogs would have fathered or given birth to a litter and they in turn would father or give birth to their own litters within 12 months. So we are understandably proud of our work in this area, which ensures a stable population of happy and healthy dogs. If you see a dog on the beach which has a ‘V’ cut in one of their ears, this tells you they have been sterilised and vaccinated by us.

Severe TVT.
Deep wound.
Low chances.
But courage + care = miracles. ✨
After a month of treatment and observation,
Today she runs, plays, and lives freely again. 💛
Every life matters.
