International Nonviolence Festival.

This festival is promoting peace through humanistic concept of Non-violence. This is being celebtrated in fond memory of Non-violence follower Jain’s 23rd Tirthankar Parshva/Parshvanath who got NIRVANA in 717 BC in Parasnath Hill of Jharkhand state. This hill is named after Lord Parasnath which is situated in the lape of nature. His teaching of nonviolence is too relevant in this era of terrorism and interfaith differences. Young officer cm poet Suresh Verma has initiated it . This is a annual function where workshop on nonviolence is done. ‘’Parshva Ratna’’Award is conferred to those who has done remarkable work in the filed of Non-violence. The first recipient of this award is AMBASSDOR OF PEACE Shri Dr. Lokesh Muni Jain.
