A national park is the last place where wildlife should have to fear humans. Yet, a Sambar deer was reportedly harassed by a visitor who pulled its antlers—an act that is not entertainment, curiosity, or bravery. It is pure disrespect towards a wild animal in its own home.

We expect wildlife to tolerate our cameras, our noise, and our intrusion, but cannot even offer the basic respect of keeping our hands to ourselves. If you visit a national park to disturb, touch, or harass animals, you are part of the problem. Wildlife does not exist for human amusement. Learn to observe from a distance, or stay out of their home altogether.

A powerful step towards compassion and coexistence.

Another tragedy. Another life lost. And yet, nothing changes.

In Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, a man reportedly lost his life after getting too close to a wild elephant. Despite this, people continue surrounding elephants, chasing them, and filming reels from dangerously close distances—putting both human and wildlife lives at risk.

A wild elephant is not a tourist attraction or social media content. It is a powerful wild animal that deserves space and respect. We hope the Maharashtra Government takes strict action against reckless behaviour around wildlife and creates stronger awareness before another avoidable tragedy occurs.
