Last week, the Council of Royal Roots delegation had the honour of visiting Mauritius under the leadership of Mr. Positive Rishikumar, Founder & Managing Director, accompanied by a dedicated team including Ms. Vanita Tuteja (Director), Ms. Upasna Singh (Director) and Ms. Jyoti Loderchand and Mr. Vikram Loderchand (Country Representative – Mauritius)

A true highlight was our meeting with H.E. Dharam Gokhool, President of the Republic of Mauritius. His warm welcome, visionary outlook, and strong endorsement of the initiative reaffirmed the deep-rooted bonds between our nations — bonds not just of policy, but of shared history, culture, and civilizational values.

Mauritius is more than a strategic partner — it is a country with profound ties to India, with over half its population of Indian origin and a vibrant cultural heritage that reflects centuries of connection. This visit was also a reminder of those enduring links, and the potential they hold for collaborative growth.

We also had the opportunity to engage with several senior ministers in the Government of Mauritius, India High Commission whose commitment to the cause of skilling and development added real momentum to our shared vision.

Our sincere gratitude to Dr. Dnyaneshwar Mulay, (National Advisor, National Skill Development Corporation) whose guidance and leadership have been instrumental in advancing our efforts.

This was a true team journey — one of purpose, partnership, and pride. We return with renewed commitment, strengthened ties, and deep optimism for the future of this collaboration.
