EC Ghaziabad proudly joined Mega Tree Plantation Drive at Vijaynagar, Ghaziabad, organized by Forest Dept. Gzb under the Uttar Pradesh Government's '35 Crore Tree Plantation Campaign' as part of the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative. Our team planted saplings, took the pledge to protect Mother Earth and had the privilege of planting a tree with IAS Kumar Saurabh sir, CDO Ghaziabad.

The day became even more memorable as IFS Isha Tiwari, DFO Ghaziabad, felicitated our team with the "Certificate of Appreciation". We sincerely thank the Forest Department for making us a part of this historic initiative.

Together, we believe Environment Club Ghaziabad and the Forest Department are building a greener Ghaziabad and we remain committed to creating a lasting green impact on the land of Hindon.

EC Ghaziabad proudly celebrated its 7th Foundation Day with a meaningful tree plantation drive along the Gangnahar in Muradnagar, reaffirming its commitment to environmental conservation. A felicitation ceremony was also organized at Forest Dept. Office campus, where Mr. Amit Singh, Range Forest Officer, Modinagar Range graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The event was hosted by Club Events Co-coordinator Arshi Tyagi. Chief Guest Amit Singh was welcomed by Club Founder Sawan Kanojia and Ghaziabad Team Founder Himanshu Arya with a sapling and a memento. Club members Manish Rathore, Lakshay and volunteers including Rohit, Nakul, Anmol, Kabeer shared their inspiring journeys and experiences. Arshi Tyagi was honoured with Annual Best Volunteer Award and a certificate for her outstanding dedication. Meerut team also participated enthusiastically in the celebration.

Volunteers were felicitated with saplings, promoting the message that every recognition should inspire greener action. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Amit Singh appreciated the team's seven years of dedicated service, calling Environment Club an inspiration for youth and society. To reinforce the message of plastic free future, a handmade cloth banner of Team designed by Art Head of Club Harsh*ta Vashisht was ceremonially handed over to Coordinators.

Himanshu Arya reflected on the journey that began in 2019 as a small initiative and has now grown into a district-level environmental movement.

Founder Sawan Kanojia said that Foundation Day is not just a celebration but also a reminder of our responsibility, purity of purpose and commitment towards the organization.

The celebration concluded with the team planting 7 native saplings to mark 7 remarkable years and taking a collective pledge to continue protecting and preserving the environment for generations to come. Events Coordinator Utkarsh Sharma delivered the vote of thanks.

EC Ghaziabad participated in the Drawing Competition and Tree Plantation Drive at DPS Modinagar, under Van Mahotsav Week 2026 being organised by the Forest Department Ghaziabad's Modinagar range.

Students enthusiastically showcased their creativity in the competition on the theme "Save Environment and Forest." Through vibrant colours and imaginative artwork, they beautifully reflected their love, responsibility and concern for protecting nature.

Addressing the students, Range Forest Officer, Modinagar Range, Mr. Amit Singh encouraged everyone to adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives and become responsible guardians of the environment.

A tree plantation drive was also conducted within the school campus, where students, teachers, Forest Department officials and Environment Club representatives came together to plant saplings, reinforcing the message that every tree planted today is an investment in a healthier tomorrow.

Let us all pledge to plant more trees, protect every sapling we grow and inspire others to build a greener, cleaner and more sustainable future.

Today, an Inter-School Painting Competition at GD Goenka School, Ghaziabad was organised under "Van Mahotsav 2026" by EC Ghaziabad in collaboration with the Forest Dept. Ghaziabad. Students from Bhagirath Public School, GD Goenka Public School and Silverline Prestige Public School participated enthusiastically on the theme "Forest, Nature & Earth." Through vibrant colours and creative brushes, they beautifully expressed their love and concern for the environment.

Club Founder Sawan Kanojia encouraged students to use art as a powerful medium to inspire environmental awareness and conservation. Club's Art Head Harsh*ta Vashisht created a live painting on the same theme and motivated participants to use their creativity for a greener future.

More than 50 students participated with great enthusiasm. Forest Range Officer Nimmi Kuchiya announced that the winners will be felicitated by DM Ghaziabad, IAS Ravindra Kumar Mandad on 7 July at the Collectorate, Ghaziabad.

The event concluded with all students taking a pledge to plant at least one tree, protect it and nurture it for a greener tomorrow. Every planted sapling needs care- let's plant, protect and preserve nature together.

EC Ghaziabad proudly participated in 'Van Mahotsav 2026 Tree Plantation Drive' organized by Forest Dept., Ghaziabad at Ingraham School, Ghaziabad. Along with Forest Department officials and students of Ingraham School, our volunteers planted native saplings and reaffirmed their commitment to environmental conservation. Every tree planted today is a promise of a healthier tomorrow.

Planting a sapling is just the first step- its protection and care are equally important. This Van Mahotsav, let's not only plant more trees but also nurture them until they grow into strong, life-giving trees. Together, we can create a greener, cleaner and more sustainable future for generations to come.
