Under 'Ganga Swachhta Pakhwada 2026', at Ghaziabad's Muradnagar Gangnahar, Environment Club jointly with the Forest Dept. Ghaziabad, conducted a cleanliness drive.
The joint team, including the Modinagar/Muradnagar Range of Forest Dept., actively removed plastic waste from the canal banks. Range Officer Amit Singh emphasized that rivers are the lifelines of India and keeping them clean is every citizen’s duty. Our Founder Sawan Kanojia highlighted that pollution in rivers like Ganga is largely caused by human actions and collective responsibility is the need of the hour.
Over 25 kg of plastic waste, including polythene, bottles, caps and thermocol, was collected. The drive concluded with a pledge to protect and preserve our rivers.
Let’s come together to keep our rivers and natural water bodies clean and plastic-free. Protect water, protect life.
